      Advice: Marte got the scoring going in the top of the first with a leadoff homer against Jose Quintana. He saved his best for last though, launching a decisive two-run shot in the ninth to propel Arizona to a 5-4 victory. The multi-HR performance was Marte's first of the season and the seventh of his career.       Clay Holmes slammed the door on the Giants in the ninth inning on Sunday, protecting a two-run lead to earn his 17th save of the season.

      Advice: The Yankees rallied for four runs off of Giants’ closer Camilo Doval in the top half of the ninth inning to take the lead and Holmes did his job to make sure that it stood up. He needed just 12 pitches (eight strikes) to retire Brett Wisely, Wilmer Flores and Matt Chapman in order to end it. The 31-year-old hurler has been spectacular this season, compiling a 1.37 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and a 27/8 K/BB ratio across 26 1/3 innings while nabbing 17 saves and a victory.       Michael King allowed one run on four hits in seven innings in a no-decision against the Royals.

      Advice: King was all set to record the win with the Padres up 3-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning. However, with their bullpen being taxed heavily over the last few days, the Padres had to go with Yuki Matsui to close the game, and he allowed three runs while only recording one out. King was only able to induce eight whiffs on 48 swings for a 17 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW, but he allowed an average exit velocity on all batted balls of just 84 mph.       Ketel Marte starred Sunday going 3-for-3 with two home runs, a double, two runs scored, three RBI, and a walk in a 5-4 win over the Mets.

      Advice: Marte started this game by taking José Quintana deep and ended it by homering off of Jake Diekman to put the Diamondbacks ahead.       Gimenez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

      Advice: Gimenez took a seat Saturday against southpaw Mitchell Parker, but the lefty-hitting infielder will remain on the bench for the series finale versus the Nationals even while a right-hander (Jake Irvin) takes the bump for Washington. The Guardians may have just been looking to get an extended break for Gimenez, who had started in every game dating back to May 10 before his back-to-back absences.
