    • IL decision likely imminent
Polanco (hamstring), who was out of the lineup for a fifth straight game Sunday, did some explosive running drills before the series finale against the Orioles but could still be placed on the injured list in coming days, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Despite Polanco upping his activity level Sunday, manager Scott Servais confirmed the veteran infielder is still not moving around at full speed. As such, the Mariners could make a decision on whether to place Polanco on the IL as early as Monday when the team opens a four-game series against the Yankees. Servais conceded Sunday that Polanco was feeling better and has progressed to swinging a bat without discomfort, but given the lingering nature of hamstring injuries, an IL stint might still be necessary to ensure a full recovery. • Swats fourth homer
Suwinski went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and a stolen base in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Suwinski had gone just 1-for-13 over his last five games, striking out eight times in that span. The outfielder is up to four homers, five steals, 13 RBI, 15 runs scored and a .172/.263/.299 slash line over 152 plate appearances. Suwinski remains firmly in a strong-side platoon role, and that's unlikely to change if he can't find more of a rhythm at the plate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:24 pm
    • Leaves yard twice
Tucker went 2-for-5 with two homers and four RBI in Sunday's win over the Brewers.

Advice: After striking out in his first three at-bats, Tucker belted a solo homer in the sixth inning and a three-run shot in the seventh. He's gone deep 10 times in his last 20 games after snapping a six-game drought Sunday. It was also his third multi-homer game and first since April 12. Tucker owns a 1.040 OPS with 33 RBI and 15 home runs, tying Gunnar Henderson for the MLB lead. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:09 pm

    • Kyle Tucker homers twice in win over Brewers
Kyle Tucker went 2-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in a 9-4 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Tucker did strike out in his other three at-bats, but let’s not dampen the day. The 27-year-old blasted a 390-foot home run at 107 mph in the sixth inning and then followed that up with a 99.2 mph home run in the seventh. He’s now up to 15 home runs on the season with 33 RBI and remains one of the better fantasy baseball players in the league. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:20 pm

    • Jack Suwinski goes deep in victory over Cubs
Jack Suwinski swatted his fourth home run of the season on Sunday, helping to power the Pirates past the Cubs.

Advice: Suwinski clobbered his 367-foot (99.8 mph EV) solo shot off of Jameson Taillon in the second inning, giving the Pirates an early 1-0 lead. He also drew a pair of walks and swiped a base in the contest, finishing the afternoon 1-for-2 officially. It’s been a very rough go for Suwinski at the plate this season, slashing a miserable .173/.265/.301 with four homers, 13 RBI and five stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm
    • Seiya Suzuki drives in run in loss to Pirates
Seiya Suzuki walked, drove in a run and scored a run on Sunday afternoon as the Cubs fell to the Pirates in their series finale in Chicago.

Advice: Suzuki got the Cubs on the board in the third inning as he plated Mike Tauchman with a sacrifice fly. He was then hit by a pitch in the sixth inning, advanced to third on a double by Cody Bellinger and scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Christopher Morel. On the season, the 29-year-old outfielder is now hitting .267/.337/.456 with four homers, 16 RBI and one stolen base on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm
    • Absence continues Sunday
Polanco (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Baltimore.

Advice: Polanco is out of the starting nine for the fifth straight game as he continues to manage soreness in his right hamstring. Josh Rojas is picking up another start at the keystone while Luis Urias mans the hot corner. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:19 am

    • Jorge Polanco (hamstring) out again Sunday vs. O’s
Jorge Polanco (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Orioles.

Advice: The Mariners continue to hold out hope that Polanco won’t need a trip to the injured list, but the 30-year-old still isn’t ready to return to the starting lineup. Josh Rojas will start at second base with Luis Urias the starting third baseman. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:57 am

    • J.D. Martinez out of lineup with flu-like symptoms
J.D. Martinez is not in the starting lineup Sunday due to flu-like symptoms according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

Advice: Heyman also reports that Francisco Lindor and Harrison Bader are also under the weather, but they’re in the lineup. For now, Martinez should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:08 am
