• Hoerner extends hitting streak with home run
Nico Hoerner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Brewers on Sunday.

Advice: It was a quiet afternoon for the Cubs’ offense as they could only muster one run against the Brewers. Hoerner’s home run was just his fourth of the year. He’s hitting just .248 on the season, but has a hit in each of his last seven games. He’s 10-for-27 (.370) with two home runs and three RBI in that time. Rotoworld 51 minutes ago

  • Turang hits grand slam in route against Cubs
Brice Turang went 2-for-5 with a grand slam against the Cubs on Sunday.

Advice: The home run was Turang’s sixth of the year. The speedster played the role of power hitter in this one. He chased Kyle Hendricks from the game with a grand slam with two outs in the fourth inning to give the Brewers a 7-0 lead. Turang is hitting .292 with a .771 OPS and 28 steals on the season.

  • Corey Seager absent due to hand injury
Corey Seager, who hurt his left hand when he was hit by a pitch Saturday, is out of the Rangers lineup for Sunday night’s game against the Orioles.

Advice: Josh Smith starts at shortstop, with Davis Wendzel playing third base. The good news is that Seager isn’t going on the IL, at least not yet. The Rangers have tomorrow off, so they can wait until Tuesday to make a decision there. Rotoworld 57 minutes ago

  • Justin Turner drives in lone run for Blue Jays
Justin Turner went 1-for-4 with an RBI on Sunday against the Yankees.

Advice: The Jays offense was stifled once again. Turner’s RBI single was their only sign of life and he had three of the team’s six hard-hit balls on the day. The ageless Turner is sporting a respectable .251 average and .734 OPS. Rotoworld Today, 1:38 pm

  • Withheld from Sunday's lineup
Seager (wrist) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: The 30-year-old had X-rays come back negative after being struck in the left wrist by a pitch Saturday, and he'll miss at least one start. The Rangers are calling up Jonathan Ornelas for added infield depth, per Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News, which could signify that Seager will miss some time. No IL move is coming Sunday though, as Brock Burke was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock. Josh Smith is starting at shortstop as Davis Wendzel mans the hot corner. Rotowire.com Today, 1:37 pm

  • Slugs 18th home run
Devers went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in the 4-1 win over the Padres

Advice: Devers gave his team an early lead with his first-inning blast, his fourth homer in his last five games. The Red Sox slugger has broken out of a slump in which he only hit one home run over 15 games. Devers now has 14 extra-base hits and a 1.027 OPS in June, both leading all MLB third basemen. Overall, the 27-year-old is having another fantastic season hitting .286/.368/.571 with 18 home runs, 45 RBI and a .939 OPS. Rotowire.com Today, 1:36 pm

  • Not in Sunday's lineup
Urias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Urias started the first two games of the series but will sit for the finale Sunday amid an 0-for-17 slump. Jordan Westburg will man the hot corner while Jorge Mateo receives the start at second base. Rotowire.com Today, 1:31 pm

  • Sitting versus lefty
Mountcastle is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The 27-year-old's omission from the lineup is surprising since southpaw Andrew Heaney is taking the mound for Texas. Mountcastle has an .853 OPS versus lefties this season and was also held out of the lineup for Saturday's contest, so it's possible he's dealing with an injury or illness, though nothing has been reported at this point. The lefty-hitting Ryan O'Hearn will instead start at first base Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:16 pm

  • Rangers recall INF Jonathan Ornelas
Rangers recalled INF Jonathan Ornelas from Triple-A Round Rock.

Advice: It’ll probably be a quick stint for Ornelas, who is up to give the Rangers some extra infield coverage with Corey Seager banged up. Ornelas was hitting .246/.318/.345 in Triple-A this season. Rotoworld Today, 1:11 pm
