    Advice: Robert's eighth blast of the season came in the first inning off Chris Sale and was the only run to cross the plate on the day. It was just the fourth multi-hit game of the season for Robert, who missed a couple months earlier this season with a hip flexor strain. While Robert has struggled to the tune of a .204 average and 38 strikeouts over 114 plate appearances for the moribund White Sox, his AB/HR ratio of 12.9 is a career-best mark and portends to good things to come for the 26-year-old slugger.     Advice: Grisham plated New York's only two runs of the game with a blast to left field in the fifth inning. The outfielder has just 10 hits in 69 at-bats this season for a paltry .145 average, though half of those hits have been homers.     Trent Grisham went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run against the Blue Jays on Thursday.

    Advice: Grisham provided all of the Yankees offense on Thursday. He hit a two-run home run off Jose Berrios in the fifth inning.     Adolis Garcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Orioles on Thursday.



    Advice: Garcia’s home run was his 15th of the season. It hasn’t been Garcia’s best season, but he’s showing what it means to possess a solid floor. He’s only hitting .219, but he’s still on pace for around 30 home runs with 15 stolen bases and run totals in the mid-80s. Even though Garcia isn’t repeating the monster season he produced last year, he’s still carving out a pretty nice year for himself.

  • Luis Robert homers to give White Sox 1-0 victory
    Luis Robert went 2-for-3 with a homer in a victory over Atlanta on Thursday in the first game of a doubleheader.

    Advice: Robert’s homer was not only the only run Chris Sale allowed and not only the only run for the White Sox, it was the only run scored by either team Thursday. The 26-year-old has homered eight times in his 103 at-bats while driving in 12 runs. Robert Jr. has enormous fantasy potential, but it sure would be nice to see him playing for a team that had a semblance of competence. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:55 pm
     
  • Manuel Margot drives in pair in blowout victory
    Manuel Margot went 2-for-5 with two RBI in a victory over the Twins on Thursday.

    Advice: He also scored twice in a game where Minnesota crossed the plate 13 times. Margot picked up his RBI with an infield single in the second and a sacrifice fly an inning later. The 29-year-old has been hitting at the top of the lineup against southpaws as of late, but his .238/.307/.325 slash shows he hasn’t really taken advantage of that slot. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:45 pm
