      Advice: Means got off to a rocky start, allowing a run on three hits in the first inning. However, he'd settle down and hold Seattle to just one additional run over his final five frames in an eventual 9-2 Orioles win. It was a nice bounce-back effort from Means, after he gave up four runs in just 4.2 innings against Arizona in his last start. The 31-year-old southpaw lowered his ERA to 3.06 with a 0.85 WHIP and 15 strikeouts while still not issuing a walk over 17.2 innings.       John Means logged a quality start in Friday evening’s victory over the Mariners, surrendering just two runs on six hits across six frames.

      Advice: The 31-year-old southpaw punched out four batters on the night and didn’t allow a base on balls. He allowed an RBI single to Mitch Garver in the first inning, then served up a solo blast to Dylan Moore in the fifth, but that was the extent of the damage done against him in this one. Means got 11 swings and misses on 95 pitches on the night — eight of those on his changeup — while registering a CSW of 32 percent. Through his first three starts, he now sits at 2-0 with a 3.06 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and a 15/0 K/BB ratio over 17 2/3 innings. Those steals would lead to him scoring three runs, marking the third time this season he's accomplished that feat. It was also the star shortstop's first four-hit game on the campaign and his third game with three or more hits. De La Cruz has a whopping 30 stolen bases on the season following his first four-steal performance, sitting 13 ahead of the next closest player, Tampa Bay's Jose Caballero.       Elly De La Cruz went 4-for-4 with four stolen bases on Thursday, leading the Reds to a 7-2 victory over the Dodgers.

      Advice: De La Cruz might break the century mark in the stolen base department, if he sustains this surreal pace. He was thrown out attempting a fifth steal in the seventh inning of Thursday’s showdown at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The 22-year-old burgeoning fantasy superstar is still striking out 30 percent of the time, but some improved plate discipline has enabled him to reach base more frequently this season and show off his field-tilting speed. He’s batting .277/.378/.516 with 35 runs scored, nine homers, 22 RBI and 30 steals following the first four-steal performance of his career out in Los Angeles.       Alec Bohm went 2-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI against the Mets on Thursday.



      Advice: Bohm continues to bash the ball this season as his average is .331. Bohm has a 15 percent strikeout percentage since the beginning of last season. He’s someone you can count on for a solid batting average and entrenched in the middle of the Phillies batting order. Bohm is also benefiting greatly from a .381 BABIP, which is 55 points higher than his career .326 BABIP. He probably has to cool off at some point, but his profile doesn’t scream sell high.
