• Triple, home run in win
Henderson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an RBI triple and a second run scored in Friday's 9-2 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Henderson led off the game with a solo shot off Bryce Miller, his 13th homer of the year, before driving in a second run with an opposite-field triple in the seventh inning. While Henderson's gotten off to a great start this year, he'd been slumping a bit coming into Friday's contest, going 0-for-11 in his prior three games. Overall, the 22-year-old shortstop is slashing .263/.339/.569 with 29 RBI, 32 runs scored and six steals across 189 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago

  • Clay Holmes nails down 13th save
Clay Holmes struck out two White Sox to earn the save on Friday. He also walked one.

Advice: Holmes has arguably been the best relief pitcher in baseball this season not named Mason Miller. Yet to allow an earned run, he suppresses hard contact at an impressive clip and is running a career best 29 K%. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago

  • Mike Clevinger doesn’t finish five innings in loss
Mike Clevinger allowed three earned runs in 4 ⅔ innings in a loss to the Yankees on Friday. He also walked two and struck out five.

Advice: Clevinger ran into the buzzsaw that is Aaron Judge who took him deep in the first and then fell victim to the middle of the Yankees lineup in a two-run fourth inning. Such is life for the modern version of Clevinger who will take a 5.56 ERA into his next start against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago

  • Aaron Judge homers again in win
Aaron Judge went 1-for-1 with a solo home run and three walks in a win over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Judge has been retired just once in three games as his scalding hot streak continues. He has six home runs in his last 46 at-bats and his .981 OPS is suddenly sixth among all qualified hitters. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago

  • Tommy Pham has three hits in loss to Yankees
Tommy Pham went 3-for-5 on Friday with a double and a run scored.

Advice: Pham has been scalding hot since being activated by the White Sox with a .338 average and .866 OPS. All he’s ever done is hit and will have every opportunity to do so as he leads off and plays every day for this dismal White Sox team. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago

  • Can't overcome rough first inning
Miller (3-4) took the loss Friday against the Orioles, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out one.

Advice: All of the damage against Miller came in the first inning, when the Orioles put up five runs before the right-hander could record an out. Miller would settle in and blank Baltimore over his final 4.1 frames, allowing just two more hits, though the Mariners couldn't climb out of the early hole in an eventual 9-2 defeat. The 24-year-old Miller has been solid this year overall, holding opponents to two runs or fewer in six of his nine starts. He sports a 3.08 ERA with a 0.99 WHIP and 52:16 K:BB across 52.2 innings this season. Miller is currently lined up for a tough road matchup with the Yankees in his next outing. • Jesús Luzardo strikes out seven, earns win
Jesús Luzardo completed six innings in the Marlins 8-0 win over the Mets on Friday. He struck out seven, walked none, and allowed seven hits.

Advice: Luzardo has been fantastic since returning from the IL, striking out 15 in 11 ⅔ innings across two starts putting a rough start to the season behind him. However, be advised his fastball averaged just 94.7 MPH Friday. That was his lowest mark in a single start this season and after he’s already spent time on the shelf with elbow tightness. • Improves to 2-0
Means (2-0) earned the win Friday over the Mariners, allowing two runs on six hits over six innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Means got off to a rocky start, allowing a run on three hits in the first inning. However, he'd settle down and hold Seattle to just one additional run over his final five frames in an eventual 9-2 Orioles win. It was a nice bounce-back effort from Means, after he gave up four runs in just 4.2 innings against Arizona in his last start. The 31-year-old southpaw lowered his ERA to 3.06 with a 0.85 WHIP and 15 strikeouts while still not issuing a walk over 17.2 innings. Means is currently lined up for a road matchup with the Cardinals in his next outing. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago

  • Nick Fortes goes 3-for-3, homers in win
Nick Fortes went 3-for-3 with a three-run homer and three runs scored against the Mets on Friday.

Advice: The home run was just Fortes’ second in what’s been a disastrous start to the season. He’s had some intriguing batted ball metrics in the past, but this was just his second barrel of the season. He’s hard to trust even in two-catcher formats. Rotoworld 37 minutes ago
