    • Starling Marte gets Sunday off against Marlins
Starling Marte is out of the starting lineup against the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Marte will get a day off against his former team. Tyrone Taylor will be in the lineup while the 35-year-old gets some rest. Rotoworld Today, 7:42 am
    • Out of lineup Sunday
Marte is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: The Mets will roll with an outfield consisting of Tyrone Taylor, Harrison Bader and DJ Stewart from left to right, with Brandon Nimmo at DH against right-hander Sixto Sanchez. Marte remains a regular in Queens and he's picked it up a bit at the plate recently, collecting multiple hits in three of his last five starts. Rotowire.com Today, 7:22 am
    • Makes impact late in win
Lowe went 0-for-4 with two RBI in Saturday's 3-2 extra-innings win over the Angels.

Advice: Lowe, who is hitless over his last 13 at-bats, was the late-game hero for the Rangers. He set up extra innings with an run-producing, eighth-inning sacrifice fly, then Lowe was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 13th for the walk-off win. The two RBI five him 14 over 26 games. Rotowire.com Today, 7:07 am

    • Successful bullpen session
Pepiot (leg) threw a three-inning bullpen session ahead of Friday's game against the Blue Jays, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Pepiot continues to make progress toward a return, as he's now thrown three successful bullpen sessions. His activation could come as soon as the Rays' upcoming series against the Red Sox, though no final decision has been reached. Rotowire.com Today, 12:06 am

    • Clubs homer Saturday
Garcia went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-2 extra-innings win over the Angels.

Advice: This was Garcia's third homer in his last four games and his 11th long ball of the campaign. The outfielder is hitting just .190 (8-for-42) over his last 10 contests, but five of his hits in that span have gone for extra bases. He's slashing .251/.297/.491 with 35 RBI, 24 runs scored, four stolen bases and nine doubles through 46 games as the Rangers' usual cleanup hitter. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:50 pm

    • Cruises to fifth win
Allen (5-2) earned the win over Minnesota on Saturday, pitching six scoreless innings during which he allowed five hits and one walk while striking out seven batters.

Advice: Cleveland went up 2-0 in the first inning, and Allen never allowed Minnesota a sniff at the game, as he allowed just a handful of singles across six scoreless frames. It was the second straight start in which the left-hander tossed exactly six innings without giving up a run on the heels of an ugly seven-run, 2.1-inning defeat against Detroit on May 7. That outing is a big reason why his season ERA sits at 4.91 -- it's a much more palatable 3.86 minus the blowup. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:41 pm

    • Adolis García collects 11th homer against Angels
Adolis García swatted a solo homer to help the Rangers to a win in extra-innings Saturday.

Advice: García swatted a solo homer in the sixth inning of Patrick Sandoval to get the Rangers on the board. That’s the 11th homer for the 31-year-old slugger, and the 35th RBI. García has been one of the more productive power-hitters in baseball this decade, and nothing has changed thus far in 2024. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:04 pm

    • Lowe gets plunked in 13th to give Rangers win
Nathaniel Lowe drove in two runs including a walk-off hit-by-pitch in the 13th inning against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: The Angels decided to load the bases with an intentional walk to Corey Seager. It didn’t work out, as Carson Fulmer plunked Lowe to give the Rangers the win. Baseball strategy is a cruel enigma sometimes. Lowe has gotten on at a .391 clip since returning from injury, and he’s driven in 14 runs in 25 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:02 pm

    • Perez drives in two on Saturday
Salvador Perez went 1-for-4 with two RBI against the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Perez had a two-run single in the first inning that opened the scoring. The 34-year-old backstop has been great this year as he’s hitting .333 with a .949 OPS. His walk percentage is nearly double what it usually is at 7.8 percent and his strikeout percentage of 15 percent would be his lowest since 2015. Still, we can’t expect Perez to keep up this average as his .368 BABIP is 77 points higher than his career .291 BABIP.
