      Shota Imanaga tossed seven shutout innings with seven strikeouts in a no-decision against the Pirates on Saturday.

      Advice: Imanaga was outstanding once again, scattering four hits and one walk across seven scoreless innings. He did not allow a runner to reach scoring position until the seventh inning. The Pirates would put two runners on with a pair of base hits, but Imanaga would get out of trouble with a strikeout, one of seven on the day. He was saddled with a no-decision as the Cubs were also shut down by Bailey Falter.       Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and a walk against the White Sox on Saturday.

      Advice: Stanton doubled in the first inning to drive in a run for the Yankees. He then homered off Brad Keller in the third before drawing a walk to reach for a third time in the fifth inning. The 34-year-old slugger is heating up along with the rest of the Yankees lineup. He’s now had multiple hits in four of his last five games, including three homers. Stanton has stayed healthy so far this season and is already at 10 long balls through 39 games, giving him a shot at his first 40-homer campaign since 2017 if he can avoid length injury absences. After a disastrous start to his Astros career -- 9.39 ERA with one save through nine appearances -- Hader has seemingly settled in with his new team. He's allowed just two earned runs over his last 12.1 innings, lowering his season ERA to 4.50. He's riding a 5.1-inning scoreless streak with three saves and a win during that span.       Jhoan Duran gave up an eighth inning home run to José Ramirez and took the loss on Friday night.

      Advice: Duran entered this game tied in the eighth inning against the top of the Guardians’ order and allowed the game-winning run. It would’ve been interesting to see how the Twins managed Duran had he got through the inning cleanly: he’s yet to pitch more than an inning this season and hasn’t thrown more than 18 pitches.       Josh Hader didn’t give up a run while picking up a save Friday against the Brewers.

      Advice: Hader gets the save against one of his former employers in Milwaukee. The southpaw has now saved six games in 2024, and he’s nearly halved his 8.38 ERA on April 19 to 4.50.
