    • Justin Turner on the bench again
Justin Turner is on the bench for Monday’s game against the White Sox.

Advice: Turner got a day off on Sunday, but he remains out of the lineup on Monday with Daniel Vogelbach starting at designated hitter again. The 39-year-old is slashing just .222/.301/.359 in 173 plate appearances in 2024 with four home runs and 18 RBI. It’s possible that the Blue Jays will look to get at-bats for other players in his place, and fantasy managers can certainly look to do the same with a hot bat on the waiver wire. • Out of lineup again Monday
Turner is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Turner has now been absent from the lineup for two straight games and three times over his club's last five contests. He did enter the game twice over that stretch as a pinch hitter and will be an option to do so again Monday when/if the White Sox put a left-handed reliever in. Daniel Vogelbach will start at designated hitter Monday. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:52 am

    • Justin Turner out Sunday against Tigers
Justin Turner is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Tigers.

Advice: Turner will get the day off with Ernie Clement starting at third base and Daniel Vogelbach the designated hitter. Turner has been awful thus far in May with a .105 average over 57 at-bats and a .287 OPS. Rotoworld Sunday, 6:54 am

    • Out of Sunday's lineup
Turner is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Turner's offensive production has fallen sharply in May with a .105/.164/.123 slash line through 16 games, and he'll sit Sunday for the second time in Toronto's past four contests. Daniel Vogelbach will bat fifth as the designated hitter in the series finale at Detroit. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:49 am

    • Four more hits in win
Arraez went 4-for-5 with a double, one RBI and one run scored in Thursday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the Reds.

Advice: Arraez has multiple hits in each his last eight games, going 20-for-38 (.526) with three extra-base hits in that span. The infielder played at first base Thursday, swapping places with Jake Cronenworth on the right side of the infield. Arraez is up to a .341/.382/.422 slash line with one home run, 12 RBI, 31 runs scored and three stolen bases over 226 plate appearances. He sees a majority of the playing time at the keystone due to Xander Bogaerts (shoulder) being out indefinitely and should continue to thrive atop the order for a team that has little trouble putting the ball in play. • Luis Arraez collects four hits in win over Reds
Luis Arraez went 4-for-5 with an RBI and run scored in an extra-inning win over the Reds on Thursday.

Advice: That’s the second four-hit game in a row for Arraez, as he also collected four in the 7-3 win Wednesday. It’s also the eighth consecutive multi-hit game, and that’s seen the 27-year-old increase his average to .341. Helping in other categories is sometimes tricky, but the average category? Nope. That’s one Arraez is always going to be dominant in. Rotoworld Thursday, 1:32 pm

    • Not starting Thursday
Turner isn't in Toronto's lineup for Thursday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Turner will get a breather Thursday after reaching base three times during Wednesday's win over the White Sox. Daniel Vogelbach will fill in as the Jays' DH and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Thursday, 1:05 pm

    • Four hits including first homer
Arraez went 4-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Reds.

Advice: The 27-year-old led off the game with his first homer of the season as he produced his seventh straight multi-hit performance. Arraez has been raking since being traded to the Padres, slashing .391/.425/.478 in 73 plate appearances, and with Xander Bogaerts (shoulder) facing a lengthy absence, he should be locked in as San Diego's everyday second baseman. • Luis Arraez blasts first home run to power Padres
Luis Arraez blasted his first home run of the 2024 season on Wednesday, powering the Padres to a 7-3 victory over the Reds in Cincinnati.

Advice: Arraez started off the game with a bang on Wednesday, crushing a leadoff 374-foot (96.5 mph EV) blast off of Nick Martinez to give the Padres an early 1-0 lead. He also singled in the third inning and smacked a run-scoring single off of Brent Suter in the sixth inning that extended the Padres’ lead to 7-1. He tacked on another single in the ninth inning just for good measure. With his four-hit attack, the 27-year-old is now slashing .330/.373/.408 with a homer and 11 RBI. Rotoworld Wednesday, 5:54 pm
