Advice: The left-hander was called up for his MLB debut in April but was removed from the 40-man roster after making just two appearances. • Nails down 12th save
Hader struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 9-6 win over the Mets.

Advice: The Astros' late comeback resulted in a save chance, and Hader converted with ease. He's picked up five saves over 11 outings in June while surrendering four runs and posting a 16:1 K:BB across 10.2 innings for the month. Overall, he's 12-for-13 in save chances with a 3.68 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 59:11 K:BB through 36.2 innings this season, with the Astros' mediocre play being the main reason for his reduced saves total, though the team is trending up by going 9-2 over the last two weeks. The Brewers selected Zastryzny's contract from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.

Advice: Zastryzny has spent all season with Nashville after signing a minor-league deal with Milwaukee during the offseason, putting up a 3.18 ERA and 0.93 WHIP alongside a 38:8 K:BB through 28.1 innings. The 32-year-old southpaw will now join the Brewers to replace Jared Koenig (forearm), who landed on the injured list, and Zastryzny will presumably work in middle relief during his stint with Milwaukee. Chris Roller was designated for assignment in order to open up a 40-man roster spot. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:15 am

  • Brewers add Rob Zastryzny to bullpen on Saturday
Brewers selected the contract of LHP Rob Zastryzny from Triple-A Nashville.

Advice: Zastryzny continues his tour of the NL Central by joining Milwaukee’s bullpen mix ahead of Saturday’s game against the Cubs with fellow southpaw Jared Koenig headed to the injured list due to left forearm tendinitis. The 32-year-old journeyman lefty has made 45 appearances (two starts) in the big leagues dating back to 2016. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:10 am

  • Lands on injured list
The Brewers placed Koenig on the 15-day injured list Saturday with left forearm tendinitis.

Advice: Koenig threw 1.1 scoreless innings and struck out three batters during his appearance Friday versus the Cubs, but he seems to have come away from his outing with an injury. The 30-year-old southpaw has been one of the Brewers' more surprising finds of the season, posting a 1.66 ERA and 1.00 WHIP through 38 innings. Rob Zastryzny was selected from Triple-A Nashville to replenish Milwaukee's bullpen depth. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:09 am
