    Advice: The Nationals' only two runs in the contest came on back-to-back homers by CJ Abrams and Thomas in the sixth inning. The long ball was Thomas' first extra-base hit of any kind since May 29, and he batted just .185 (5-for-27) over that seven-game stretch.     Duvall went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run against the Nationals in a 5-2 victory Thursday.

    Advice: Atlanta was being shut out by rookie hurler Mitchell Parker until Duvall tied the score with his two-run blast in the seventh inning. The long ball was his first since he went deep in back-to-back games May 26-27. Duvall is still under the Mendoza line with a .195 average on the campaign, but he's taken on a near-everyday role in right field since Ronald Acuna was lost for the season due to a knee injury.   • Corbin Carroll records three hits in Arizona’s win
    Corbin Carroll went 3-for-5 with a double, a steal and two runs scored as the Diamondbacks edged the Padres 4-3 on Thursday.

    Advice: It’s just Carroll’s second three-hit game of the year. All three of Carroll’s hits were legit, leaving his bat on a line at 108, 106 and 99 mph. It’s definitely his most encouraging game in weeks and maybe of the entire season. At .201, he finished the game over the Mendoza Line for the first time since May 12.     Advice: Carroll's three-hit effort got his batting average over .200 for the first time since May 12. He's opened June 5-for-21 (.238) over six contests, and his steal Thursday was his first since May 25. The outfielder is slashing .201/.284/.291 with two home runs, 10 thefts, 20 RBI, 30 runs scored, seven doubles and four triples over 61 games in a disappointing second full campaign.     Advice: Refsnyder got the start in right field and extended his hitting streak to nine games. In that span, he's gone 14-for-38 (.368) with five doubles and one home run. The outfielder has carried a high average all season, and he's now batting .346 through 35 contests. He's added just two homers, 14 RBI, 13 runs scored, one stolen base, 11 doubles and a triple over 116 plate appearances. Refsnyder splits his time between the corner outfield and designated hitter, and while he hasn't been limited to a true platoon role, he hasn't played on an everyday basis either.     Advice: Rafaela entered Thursday 0-for-10 across his last three games before enjoying a breakout performance. While all four of his hits were singles, three of them led to more runs on the board for the Red Sox. The 23-year-old is slashing a meager .215/.243/.374 through 62 contests, but he's batting .276 (16-for-58) over his last 16 games to show some improvement.     Advice: Duran has multiple hits in four of his last five games, and he's gone yard in back-to-back contests. His homer Thursday came on Jake Woodford's second pitch of the game in the first inning, setting the tone for the Red Sox in their blowout win. Duran is up to five homers on the year, and he's added 27 RBI, 38 runs scored, 11 stolen base and a .271/.336/.465 slash line over 286 plate appearances.     Advice: The two steals give Doyle a total of 16 on the season. He’s hitting .265 with five home runs, but the speed gives him a decent amount of value in fantasy. Doyle is hitting .337 at Coors Field this year compared to just .203 on the road.
