• Lars Nootbaar ejected from Tuesday’s game
Lars Nootbaar was ejected from Tuesday’s game against the Orioles for arguing balls and strikes.

Advice: Nootbaar didn’t agree with a called third strike in his first-inning at-bat and was tossed from the contest after returning to the dugout and continuing to voice his displeasure. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago

  • Jake Fraley exits Tuesday following hit by pitch
Jake Fraley was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Padres after being hit by a pitch.

Advice: Fraley was hit by a pitch on the right wrist area in the opening frame and wound up leaving the contest shortly afterwards. He’s presumably headed for X-rays to determine the severity of the injury. There should be an update on his status shortly. Rotoworld 52 minutes ago

  • Max Muncy (oblique) resumes baseball activities
Max Muncy (oblique) has resumed baseball activities.

Advice: Muncy fielded grounders on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium as he works his way back from a right oblique strain that sent him to the injured list last week. It certainly doesn’t appear that he’s facing a lengthy absence, but oblique issues can be tricky. There should be a definitive timetable for his return at some point in the next few days. • Nolan Jones dealing with right knee soreness
Nolan Jones (back) has paused a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque due to right knee soreness.

Advice: Jones underwent a precautionary MRI that came back clean, but will still have his rehab assignment paused for at least a few days to rest and recover before getting back into game action. The 26-year-old slugger has been on the shelf since late April due to a lower back strain after slashing a lackluster .170/.243/.277 with one homer and two steals in 26 contests. • Commences baseball activities
Muncy took some groundballs Tuesday as he started up baseball activities after his recent oblique strain, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The Dodgers placed Muncy on the 10-day injured list Friday due to a Grade 1 right oblique strain. According to manager Dave Roberts, Muncy sustained the strain in batting practice prior to Thursday's game. Before hitting the injured list, the third baseman was slashing .223/.323/.475 with nine home runs and 28 RBI over 167 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 4:10 pm

  • Rehab halted
The Rockies have halted Jones' (back) rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque because of right knee soreness stemming from a slide, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Advice: A MRI came back clean for Jones, but he will rest a few days before getting back on the field. The outfielder was placed on the 10-day injured list April 30 with a lower-back strain and just started his rehab assignment Wednesday. It seemed like the 26-year-old was nearing a return and was trending toward being activated after Albuquerque's game Sunday, but this latest development has likely scuttled that timeline.
