    • Kinley picks up fourth save Saturday
Tyler Kinley picked up the save against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: The save was Kinley’s fourth of the season. He now has saves in back-to-back appearances. The Rockies closer situation still seems like a mess, but there might be some clarity if Kinley continues to be the guy in the ninth inning for Colorado. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago
    • Set for MLB debut
Amador will be recalled from Double-A Hartford, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports Saturday.

Advice: With Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) on his way to the 10-day injured list, Amador will get his first crack at big-league action. The 21-year-old hasn't made it past Double-A yet and although he owns a .194 batting average this season at Hartford, Amador is 14-for-39 (.359) with six home runs and six stolen bases in his last nine games. He figures to share playing time with Alan Trejo at second base. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago

    • Feltner strikes out seven against Cardinals
Ryan Feltner allowed four runs (none earned) in 5 1/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Rockies’ 6-5 victory over the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: Feltner gave up two hits, walked one and struck out seven. Back-to-back errors in the sixth inning led to four runs for the Cardinals. Feltner was actually pretty good in this one, but of course the Rockies comeback came after he was already out of the game and he’s still stuck on one win this season. The 27-year-old right-hander will take a 5.74 ERA into his next matchup against the Pirates at home next week. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago

    • Falls to San Francisco
Heaney (2-7) took the loss Saturday against the Giants, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: All three of the runs charged to Heaney came off the bat of Heliot Ramos -- the outfielder opened the scoring with a double in the first inning before adding a two-run homer in the third. The 33-year-old Heaney had earned wins in his previous two appearances (one in relief), delivering 8.1 scoreless innings in that span. Overall, he sports a 4.06 ERA with a 1.27 WHIP and 58:15 K:BB across 62 innings this season. Heaney is currently lined up for a road start next week in Seattle, though he could find himself back in the bullpen with Jon Gray returning from the IL. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago

    • Gibson allows three in no-decision Saturday
Kyle Gibson allowed three runs in six innings and got a no-decision against the Rockies on Saturday.

Advice: Gibson gave up eight hits, walked two and struck out seven. He was in line for the win before the Rockies scored three runs against the Cardinals bullpen in the seventh inning. The Cardinals bullpen also cost him a win in his last start. Gibson has been consistently good lately as he’s allowed more than three runs in only one of his last 10 starts. The 36-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs on the road next week.

    • Blasts solo home run
Garver went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Royals.

Advice: The designated hitter took Alec Marsh deep in the fifth inning to tie up the score. It was Garver's seventh homer of the season and his second in his last three games. Garver has struggled to the tune of a .180/.292/.348 line thus far, but he may be starting to turn it around with eight RBI and four extra-base hits over his last six games. • Goes 4.2 innings again vs. Texas
Howard didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Rangers, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Howard ran into some trouble in the first inning, walking the first two batters he faced before ultimately allowing a run on a sacrifice fly. While he'd hold the Rangers scoreless over his final 3.2 frames, Howard would wind up an out shy of qualifying for the win. The 27-year-old right-hander has yet to make it through five innings through his first three outings with the Giants this year, though he's allowed just three earned runs over 13.1 frames. Howard figures to remain in the rotation until Blake Snell (groin) is ready to return. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Angels in his next start. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago
    • Carson Kelly collects two hits in loss to Brewers
Carson Kelly went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI as the Tigers fell to the Brewers on Saturday afternoon at Comerica Park.

Advice: Kelly smacked a go-ahead RBI single off of Freddy Peralta in the second inning then came around to score on an RBI knock by Mark Canha. That would be the last of the Tigers’ scoring in the ballgame. With his two-hit effort, the 29-year-old backstop is now slashing .236/.317/.336 with two homers and 14 RBI on the season. • Casey Mize suffers fourth defeat on Saturday
Casey Mize suffered his fourth defeat of the season on Saturday, giving up five runs (three earned) on eight hits over 5 1/3 innings against the Brewers.

Advice: The 27-year-old hurler also issued a pair of walks on the day while recording only one strikeout. The Brewers scratched out a run against him in the opening inning then tacked on two more in the third on a sacrifice fly and an RBI ground out. He then exited with two men on and one out in the fifth inning — and both inherited runners ultimately came around to score. Mize impossibly got just one swing and miss on 97 pitches in the ballgame, registering a CSW of 26 percent. Now 1-4 on the season, he’ll tote a 4.73 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and a 39/18 K/BB ratio (59 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Astros in Houston. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago
