Crawford (oblique) is set to join the Mariners ahead of their three-game series with the Yankees beginning Monday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Crawford appears to be ready to rejoin the major-league roster after being placed on the 10-day injured list with a Grade 1 right oblique strain April 25. The shortstop went 1-for-5 with a run scored during his short two-game rehab assignment, which was cut short after he was hit in the hand by a pitch Wednesday. Crawford has struggled to a .198/.296/.302 slash line with two homers, nine RBI and 13 runs scored over 86 at-bats in 22 games with Seattle this season and his return will likely push Dylan Moore out of the starting lineup. • Brent Rooker hits three-run homer in loss
Brent Rooker went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run on Sunday in a loss to the Royals.

Advice: Rooker’s homer was his 11th of the season and he scalded this one at 111.7 MPH off the bat. There’s still a lot of swing and miss in his game, but a barrel rate right around 15% and hitting third in the surging A’s lineup has turned him into one of the best run producers in the league early this season. • Rengifo has triple and RBI vs Rangers
Luis Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple, and an RBI in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Rengifo returned this weekend after being on the IL with an illness and was right back to the top of the batting order, which is good news for his fantasy value. His RBI triple in the seventh inning helped to pad the lead and his walk earlier in the game set him up for a stolen base attempt. While he was thrown out, the fact that he continues to lead off and run makes him a solid bet in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Today, 2:38 pm

    • Should swing soon
Riley is out of the lineup against the Padres but hasn't had any issues with his intercostal injury Sunday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitutionreports.

Advice: Riley hasn't seen the field since May 12 due to intercostal inflammation but appears to be progressing in his recovery, and he could soon resume taking swings. The 27-year-old may be able to avoid a stint on the injured list but still seems to be at a couple days away from rejoining the lineup. Rotowire.com Today, 1:33 pm

    • Could rejoin team Friday
Astros GM Dana Brown said Sunday that Abreu could join the team Friday in Oakland, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The 37-year-old has gone 2-for-9 with a double and a walk in two games with the FCL Astros in the Gulf Coast League, and he's expected to play in a couple more games -- potentially with Triple-A Sugar Land -- this week before rejoining the Astros. Jon Singleton has been operating as Houston's primary first baseman over the past few weeks, and it's unclear if Abreu will immediately reclaim the job once he's called back up. • Austin Riley (side) feeling much improved Sunday
Austin Riley (side) felt much improved on Sunday and is expected to begin swinging a bat soon.

Advice: For the first time since suffering the injury, Riley didn’t feel anything in his side on Sunday. He’ll now start to ramp back up with the hope that he’ll be able to rejoin the Braves’ lineup in a couple of days. Zack Short will continue to handle the hot corner in his absence. • Jhoan Duran takes loss against Guardians
Jhoan Duran allowed a walk-off, three-run homer to Will Brennan on Sunday. He also walked two.

Advice: Duran administered free passes to Andrés Giménez and Josh Naylor before Will Brennan barely cleared the right field fence to win the game. That one home run ballooned Duran’s ERA from 1.13 to 4.15. Rotoworld Today, 1:16 pm
    • Should return this week
Mariners manager Scott Servais said Sunday that Crawford (oblique/hand) is expected to join the club at some point during the four-game series against the Yankees that begins Monday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 29-year-old was unable to join the Mariners as expected in Baltimore this weekend after he was hit by a pitch on the hand during a rehab game Wednesday, but it appears his return will be delayed only a few days. Once activated from the injured list, Crawford should reclaim the starting job at shortstop from Dylan Moore. Rotowire.com Today, 1:07 pm

    • Still sidelined Sunday
Riley (side) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Advice: The 27-year-old said Saturday that he's feeling better, but he's still absent from the lineup for a fifth straight game due to left side inflammation. A trip to the injured list has yet to be discussed for the third baseman, but that could change if Riley doesn't show more improvement soon. Zack Short will receive another start at the hot corner Sunday for Atlanta. Rotowire.com Today, 12:18 pm
