    • Gives up four runs in rehab outing
Tarnok covered 1.2 innings and gave up four earned runs on one hit and two walks in his latest rehab appearance for Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday.

Advice: Tarnok has worked as a starter for most of his minor-league career and in his brief time in the big leagues, but Oakland may be preparing him for a relief role upon his return from the 60-day injured list. The 25-year-old righty -- who has been on the shelf all season while recovering from August surgery on his right hip -- has been deployed out of Las Vegas' bullpen in each of his last four rehab appearances. He hasn't recorded more than six outs in any of those appearances and owns a 13.50 ERA and 1.67 WHIP over his five total rehab outings, so Tarnok looks like he'll need more time to iron out the kinks during his rehab assignment before he becomes a realistic option for the Oakland pitching staff in any capacity. • Returns to lineup
Isbel (face) will start in center field and bat ninth in Tuesday's game in Minnesota.

Advice: Isbel missed two games after fouling a ball off his face over the weekend, but he's feeling well enough to take part in Tuesday's contest. The 27-year-old has just a .599 OPS this season as the Royals' primary center fielder. Rotowire.com 15 minutes ago

    • On bench Tuesday
Frazier is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Frazier will get a day off after making three straight starts following the injury to Michael Massey (back). Nick Loftin will bat sixth and play second base. Rotowire.com 16 minutes ago

    • On bench against LHP
Larnach is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Larnach will take a seat Tuesday with southpaw Cole Ragans on the mound for Kansas City. Ryan Jeffers will slide to the DH spot while Christian Vazquez fills in behind the dish. Rotowire.com 22 minutes ago

    • On bench Tuesday
Julien is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Advice: As per usual, Julien will give way to Kyle Farmer at second base with a left-handed pitcher on the mound. Julien has just three hits in his last 27 at-bats and could start losing work against RHP if his struggles persist. Rotowire.com 25 minutes ago

    • Sitting out Tuesday
Siri is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Siri had manned center field for each of the previous three contests for the Rays, but he will yield to Jonny DeLuca in this one. The 28-year-old Siri sports just a .531 OPS and 37.2 percent strikeout rate this season. Rotowire.com 29 minutes ago

    • Brett Kennedy booted off roster by Reds
Reds designated RHP Brett Kennedy for assignment.

Advice: Kennedy was only with the Reds for five days, and he’ll be removed from the active and 40-man roster with Alex Young (back) reinstated off the 60-day injured list. If Kennedy goes unclaimed, he has the option to report back to Triple-A or elect free agency. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago
    • Exits 40-man roster
Kennedy was designated for assignment by the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: The transaction frees up a spot on the 26-man and 40-man rosters for the return of Alex Young (back) from the 60-day injured list. Kennedy was with the Reds for a handful of days and didn't make an appearance. Rotowire.com 35 minutes ago
    • Stuck on 7-day IL at Triple-A
Triple-A Gwinnett placed Ynoa on its 7-day injured list April 23 with right elbow inflammation, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Ynoa posted a 6.52 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 7:2 K:BB across 9.2 innings in his first three starts with Gwinnett before hitting the shelf. More than a month after being shut down, Ynoa is still without an official timeline for a return. The 26-year-old right-hander held some fantasy utility in 2021 when he turned in a 4.05 ERA while striking out more than a batter per inning over 17 starts with Atlanta, but he hasn't resurfaced at the big-league level since undergoing Tommy John surgery in September 2022. While Ynoa still possesses a spot on Atlanta's 40-man roster, he'll still likely find himself behind several other pitchers in the pecking order for a promotion once he's healthy.
