    • Ryan McMahon reaches three times in loss
Ryan McMahon singled and drew a pair of walks as the Rockies were shut out by Gavin Stone and a host of Dodgers’ relievers on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.

Advice: As a team, the Rockies totaled just five hits in the contest, with only one of them (a double by Charlie Blackmon) going for extra bases. McMahon continues to have a terrific season in the middle of the Rockies’ lineup — slashing .284/.371/.470 with 10 homers and 34 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:12 pm

    • Resting Friday
LeMahieu is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Giants.

Advice: After being reinstated from the 60-day injured list Tuesday, LeMahieu played three straight games against the Angels, going 2-for-9 with three runs and three walks. He'll begin Friday's contest in the dugout as Oswaldo Cabrera gets the start at third base and bats eighth against Giants right-hander Jordan Hicks. Rotowire.com Friday, 4:51 pm

    • Getting breather Thursday
Rizzo isn't in the Yankees' lineup for Thursday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Rizzo owns a .351 OPS across his past six games, so the Yankees will give him a rare day off Thursday so he can clear his head. DJ LeMahieu will shift to first base while Oswaldo Cabrera starts at the hot corner, batting ninth. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:26 pm
    • Matt Olson doubles twice in loss
Matt Olson went 2-for-4 with two doubles as the Braves lost to the Nationals on Wednesday.

Advice: The Braves were largely held in check by MacKenzie Gore and the Nationals’ bullpen in this one as their lineup tries to acclimate to a new normal with Ronald Acuña Jr. Olson has had a solid month of May slashing .277/.333/.489 with five home runs and 14 RBI after a slow April Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:35 pm

    • Report: Blue Jays have interest in Ryan McMahon
According to MLB Network’s Jon Morosi, the Rockies are unlikely to move Ryan McMahon this summer, though the Blue Jays and other clubs have interest in him.

Advice: McMahon has busted out or at least enjoyed an extended hot streak this season, coming in at .286/.366/.483 to date. That’s a 135 OPS+ from a guy who has never before topped 100 in a season. Still, the Rockies, who have McMahon signed through 2027, have never heard of the concept of selling high. • Officially activated
The Yankees reinstated LeMahieu (foot) from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

Advice: A fracture of LeMahieu's right foot has kept him on the injured list all season, but he will return to make his season debut Tuesday while starting at third base and batting ninth. The 35-year-old veteran will act as New York's primary third baseman going forward, though he's expected to receive a handful of off days initially as the Yankees attempt to ease him back into action. • Yankees activate DJ LeMahieu for season debut
Yankees activated INF DJ LeMahieu from the 60-day injured list.

Advice: The saga is finally over. LeMahieu will make his season debut on Tuesday night following a two-mont absence recovering from a fracture in his right foot, and a couple setbacks along the way. The 35-year-old veteran figures to draw most of his starts at the hot corner moving forward and bat near the bottom of New York’s lineup. Rotoworld Tuesday, 4:39 pm

    • DJ LeMahieu will hit ninth, play third in return
DJ LeMahieu will hit ninth and play third base in his return from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

Advice: LeMahieu will make his season debut after missing exactly two months of the season with a fracture in his right foot. The 35-year-old could have some rust to shake off from such a long absence — even with a lengthy rehab assignment — but hitting ninth will give him a chance to be driven in by the top of the New York lineup. • Slated to bat ninth in return
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said in an interview on Jomboy Media's "Talkin' Yanks" podcast that LeMahieu (foot) will start at third base and bat ninth Tuesday versus the Angels in his season debut.

Advice: LeMahieu had appeared in line for leadoff duties with the Yankees before suffering a non-displaced fracture of his right foot shortly before Opening Day. However, Anthony Volpe looks to have a tight grip on the leadoff job now, pushing LeMahieu to the bottom of the batting order for the time being. LeMahieu is slated to be the team's primary third baseman, although he will be given extra off days initially as the Yankees ease him back into action. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:59 am
