      Advice: Pasquantino twice gave the Royals a lead, first with a first-inning homer and then with an RBI single in the third, but that was the extent of the team's run production. The first baseman is heating up with three straight multi-hit efforts. He's gone 7-for-15 with four extra-base hits and six RBI in that span after batting just .148 with no multi-hit performances over a 16-game stretch.       Advice: Pasquantino hit a two-run shot off Randy Vasquez in the first inning to give Kansas City a 2-1 lead, and he gave the Royals another lead with an RBI single two innings later. The 26-year-old has driven home 39 runs over KC’s 60 games, and the homer was his seventh. The .242 average leaves a bit to be desired, but Pasquantino is capable of helping in several categories with his left-handed bat, as evidenced by this showing Saturday.       Ke’Bryan Hayes went 2-for-4 and belted a two-run homer on Saturday, powering the Pirates to a lopsided 8-1 victory over the Blue Jays in Toronto.

      Advice: Hayes put the exclamation point on a three-run first inning for the Pirates with his 404-foot (107.8 mph EV) two-run blast off of Yusei Kikuchi. That would be more than enough run support for Mitch Keller and company in this one. Hayes also led off the sixth inning with a single and scored on a fielder’s choice off the bat of Jared Triolo.
