    • Logan Webb limits Rangers to two runs in win
Logan Webb pitched the Giants past the Rangers with seven innings of two-run ball on Friday.

Advice: Webb’s peripherals aren’t up to par, but tonight will help. He struck out six while walking none, and all five hits he allowed should have been singles (Wyatt Langford turned one into a double with his speed). Webb is now 5-5 with a 2.92 ERA in advance of a date with the Astros. Rotoworld Today, 9:38 pm

    • Fires seven innings
Webb (5-5) allowed two runs on five hits over seven innings Friday, striking out six and earning a win over the Rangers.

Advice: Webb kept Texas off the board for four frames before the Rangers plated two runs in the fifth inning. Outside of that inning, he allowed just one baserunner. Webb threw seven innings in his last outing but saw his streak of four straight quality starts come to an end. With Friday's quality start in the books, he has 10 in his 14 appearances this season. Webb will carry a 2.92 ERA into his next start, which is lined up to be at home against Houston next week. Rotowire.com Today, 8:07 pm

    • Set to start Saturday
Peralta is scheduled to start Saturday against the Tigers, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.

Advice: The right-hander initially lined up to start Friday's series opener, but Tobias Myers will instead take the ball in that contest. Peralta has given up at least one homer in each of his past four starts, though he's still been effective over the last three with a 2.55 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 25:4 K:BB across 17.2 innings. • Fans eight in victory
Greene (4-2) earned the win over the Cubs on Thursday, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight batters over 6.2 innings.

Advice: Greene gave up a pair of two-run homers but otherwise kept the Cubs off the scoreboard. The right-hander racked up 17 whiffs among his 111 pitches and gave Cincinnati 6.2 frames, marking the fifth straight start during which he's completed at least six innings. Greene ranks 11th in the majors with 77.1 frames on the season while recording a 3.61 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 84:32 K:BB. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:31 pm

    • Greene allows four, gets fourth win Thursday
Hunter Greene allowed four runs in 6 2/3 innings and got the win in the Reds’ 8-4 victory over the Cubs on Thursday.

Advice: Greene gave up five hits, walked two and struck out eight. The win was his fourth in 13 starts this season. It was a bit of a mixed bag for Greene with two home runs allowed and eight strikeouts. He has a 3.61 ERA on the season, but a 4.23 xFIP. The 24-year-old right-hander is set to face the Guardians at home next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:46 pm

    • Secures save No. 10
Estevez picked up the save in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Padres while pitching a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Estevez needed just nine pitches to retire the side for his second save in as many days. He has not allowed a baserunner in any of his last three appearances and becomes the 16th pitcher to reach double-digit saves this year. The 31-year-old now owns a 4.26 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 18:3 K:BB in 19 innings this year. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:51 am

    • Carlos Estévez records second save in two days
Carlos Estévez recorded his 10th save by pitching a perfect ninth against the Padres on Tuesday.

Advice: It was another easy ninth for Estévez; he’s thrown just 19 pitches in earning saves the last two days. Since he’s had it so easy and he received five straight days off prior to pitching Monday, he might be allowed to work again tomorrow should another save chance arise. • Glasnow takes tough luck loss against Pirates
Tyler Glasnow allowed one run on three hits over six innings in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: Glasnow allowed a solo home run to Jack Suwinski in the third inning and that was all the Pirates needed to earn a win behind a strong performance from Jared Jones. Glasnow was also great on Tuesday with two walks, nine strikeouts, and 13 whiffs on 40 swings for a 33 percent whiff rate and 35 percent CSW. The right-hander has been healthy all year and dominant on the mound with a 2.93 ERA heading into a tough start against the Yankees this weekend. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:43 pm

    • Excellent again in hard-luck loss
Glasnow (6-4) was stuck with the loss Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out nine over six innings.

Advice: Jack Suwinski's solo home run in the third inning was the lone tally against Glasnow, though it proved to be enough to leave him with the loss in a 1-0 shutout defeat. Still, it was another strong outing from the 30-year-old Glasnow, who now has eight or more strikeouts in seven of his last eight starts. His ERA is down to 2.93 on the year with a 0.90 WHIP and a league-leading 104 strikeouts through 13 starts (80 innings). Glasnow's currently lined up for an intriguing road matchup with the Yankees this weekend. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 6:39 pm
