Jake Fraley (calf) remains out of Reds’ lineup
Jake Fraley (calf) remains out of the Reds’ starting lineup for Friday night’s showdown against the Cardinals.
Advice: The 29-year-old outfielder was held out of Thursday’s lineup due to a calf injury. He underwent an MRI exam to determine the severity of the issue, the results of which are not yet known. It’s at least encouraging to hear that he hasn’t been placed on the injured list — at least as of now. The Reds will trot out an outfield of Nick Martini, Will Benson and Stuart Fairchild on Friday evening.
