• Outrighted to Triple-A
The Tigers outrighted Kennedy to Triple-A Toledo on Thursday after he cleared waivers.

Advice: Kennedy could elect free agency if he wants, but it's not clear at this point whether he will do so. If he doesn't he'll join Toledo where he will represent infield depth for the Tigers. Rotowire.com 3 minutes ago

  • Slow start in rearview mirror
Amador has homered in three straight games and is slashing .333/.422/.741 with seven home runs and seven steals in his last 13 games for Double-A Hartford.

Advice: The prized second baseman slashed .135/.309/.144 with one extra-base hit in his first 32 games of the season, so his overall season stats aren't spectacular, but Amador is beginning to show the type of update that his dynasty managers were expecting. Amador is also a threat on the bases, having stolen 22 bags on 25 attempts in 45 games. He should be Ezequiel Tovar's double-play partner in Colorado for most, if not all, of 2025. • Keeps mashing
Gonzales went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run during Thursday's 11-7 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: The second baseman launched his fourth homer of the season in the third inning, plating Oneil Cruz with a long ball off Walker Buehler. Gonzales has been red hot of late, gong 11-for-30 (.367) with two homers, two doubles and eight RBI in his last seven games. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago

  • Will be 27th man
Marchan will be recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to serve as the 27th man during this weekend's series in London against the Mets, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Advice: J.T. Realmuto has been a little dinged up recently, so the Phillies have opted to carry a third catcher this weekend as insurance. Marchan will almost certainly be sent back down to Lehigh Valley early next week. Rotowire.com 43 minutes ago
  • Steals base, logs three hits
Rojas went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base during Thursday's 11-7 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Rojas generated three or more hits for the second time this season, with the other such performance happening May 29 against the Mets. He also swiped his third bag of the campaign, taking second base off Bailey Falter and Henry Davis in the first inning. Overall, Rojas is slashing .287/.343/.447 with a career-best 7.8 percent K rate. Rotowire.com 52 minutes ago

  • Hit hard by Dodgers
Falter (3-3) took the loss Thursday against the Dodgers, allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks across four innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Falter's start began and ended poorly, as he yielded four runs in the first inning --including a three-run home run by Freddie Freeman -- before getting pulled after allowing a solo homer to Teoscar Hernandez to lead off the fifth. The outing marked Falter's first time allowing more than three runs since April 29 and snapped a streak of four straight quality starts. Through 68.1 innings, Falter owns a 3.69 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP. He's lined up to face the Cardinals in St. Louis on Wednesday. Rotowire.com Today, 6:54 am
  • Nearly perfect in rehab outing
Rodriguez (back) threw three shutout, no-hit innings for Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, walking one and striking out four.

Advice: The 27-year-old right-hander looked just about ready to rejoin the big-league staff, firing 29 of 43 pitches for strikes, and per MLB.com he threw another 15 pitches in the bullpen afterward to get stretched out a little more. That extra work suggests Rodriguez will be a candidate to move back into the rotation once he's activated, but the Blue Jays have yet to determine if he'll need one more rehab start before coming off the IL. • Goes yard in Thursday's win
Garver went 2-for-2 with a home run, two walks, two RBI and two runs scored in a win over the Athletics on Thursday.

Advice: Garver was a one-man wrecking crew for Seattle, delivering an RBI single in the fourth inning before putting an exclamation point on the M's shutout victory with a ninth-inning solo blast. While Thursday's performance marked the veteran catcher's second two-hit effort and second multi-RBI performance in the last four games, Garver's first two months-plus in Seattle have been highly disappointing -- he's sitting on a .175 batting average and .612 OPS through his first 200 plate appearances, and his 30.5 percent strikeout rate is his highest since he whiffed at a 45.7 percent clip during the COVID-shortened 2020 season. • Stuck with loss
Sears (4-5) took the loss Thursday against Seattle, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Sears turned in his fifth quality start of the season Thursday and tied his season high in strikeouts. However, the A's offense mustered up just two hits and didn't score, leaving the left-hander in the loss column for the third time in his last four appearances. While Sears missed plenty of bats, he located just 60 of his 101 pitches in the strike zone and hit a pair of batters. Overall, Sears owns a 3.93 ERA and 1.09 WHIP through 73.1 innings this season. He's scheduled to face the Padres in San Diego on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 6:36 am
