    • Sitting versus southpaw
Kepler will sit Saturday versus the Astros.

Advice: Kepler will take a seat as Minnesota faces left-hander Framber Valdez on Saturday. Manuel Margot will replace Kepler in right field and bat leadoff against Houston. Rotowire.com Today, 9:06 am

    • Jung Hoo Lee to undergo shoulder surgery next week
Jung Hoo Lee will undergo shoulder surgery on Tuesday.

Advice: Lee will undergo the season-ending procedure early next week in Los Angeles with Dr. Neal ElAttrache. The 25-year-old center fielder suffered structural damage in his shoulder back in mid-May when he collided with the center-field wall at Oracle Park. He’s expected to be ready to roll by the start of spring training, but is facing a lengthy rehabilitation process. Rotoworld Today, 8:54 am

    • Swipes second bag
Greene went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 7-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Getting the start in center field and batting second, Greene was the only Tiger to record multiple hits on the night. The 23-year-old has reached base eight times in the last four games, and on the season he's slashing .239/.343/.449 with 10 homers, two steals, 22 RBI and 37 runs through 56 contests. • Set for surgery Tuesday
Lee (shoulder) will undergo surgery Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: The procedure will address the torn labrum in Lee's left shoulder, which he sustained May 12 against the Reds. Before the injury, Lee was slashing .262/.310/.331 with two home runs and eight RBI over 145 plate appearances. He should be ready to go for the start of the 2025 season. • Goes deep Thursday
Greene went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Thursday in a 5-0 victory versus the Red Sox.

Advice: Greene launched a two-run shot in the eighth inning to double Detroit's lead. The long ball snapped a 19-game homer drought that extended back to May 6. Greene has nonetheless gone deep 10 times this season, so he's already one homer away from matching the 11 he hit over 416 plate appearances last year. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:54 pm

    • Riley Greene breaks HR drought against Red Sox
Riley Greene homered and walked in a victory over the Red Sox on Thursday.

Advice: That was the first homer for Greene since May 6. It was a two-run shot off Chris Martin that doubled the Tigers’ lead to 4-0. After a great April the 23-year-old has scuffled considerably in May, but there’s no denying that Greene has the talent to be an upper-echelon fantasy contributor. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:02 pm

    • Getting breather Thursday
Kepler is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Royals.

Advice: With Thursday's contest being a day game after a night game, manager Rocco Baldelli will give rest to several key regulars. Along with Kepler, Edouard Julien, Alex Kirilloff and Trevor Larnach will rest as the Twins open up room in the lineup for reserves Manuel Margot, Kyle Farmer, Carlos Santana and Christian Vazquez. • Reaches three times in doubleheader
Greene went 2-for-7 with a walk, a double and two runs scored in Wednesday's doubleheader against the Pirates.

Advice: Greene did most of his damage in the first game, when he went 2-for-4 with both of his runs, then cooled down against Paul Skenes and the Pittsburgh bullpen in the nightcap. That's a microcosm of the outfielder's season, as he was batting .257 with a .911 OPS through the end of April, but he's batting just .204 with a .590 OPS this month. Greene has the talent to get rolling again, however, and fantasy managers will just need to be patient with the 23-year-old. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 6:53 pm

    • Notches three hits
Rengifo went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Rengifo did a good job getting on base throughout the night, and he was able to score after his singles in the first and eighth innings. The infielder has been locked in since returning from an illness May 17, going 15-for-42 (.357) over his last 10 contests. That has raised his slash line to .331/.378/.504 with four home runs, 12 stolen bases, 17 RBI and 22 runs scored across 144 plate appearances on the year. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:51 pm
