      Neris earned a save against the Reds on Saturday, allowing one hit and striking out two batters over one inning.

      Advice: Neris gave up a one-out single in the ninth inning but was able to wrap up his seventh save. The right-hander had allowed a run in each of his previous two outings, so this was a promising frame for him. The save was his first since May 4.       Crawford went 1-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk in Saturday's 9-0 win over the Angels.

      Advice: The Mariners held a narrow 1-0 lead before Crawford broke things open with his fourth-inning grand slam. It was the fourth grand slam of his career and his fourth homer for Seattle this season. Each of Crawford's past four hits have gone for extra bases (three doubles, one homer).       Advice: The save was Neris’ seventh of the season. No one is going to confuse Neris with a shutdown closer. Even with the two strikeouts and no walks on Saturday, he has a SO:BB of 18:15 in 21 innings this season. Neris’ ERA is 3.00 but his xFIP is 5.10.       Seiya Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a triple and a grand slam against the Reds on Saturday.



      Advice: Suzuki’s home run was his sixth of the season and second in the last three games. He seems to be completely over the oblique injury he dealt with earlier this season. Suzuki is 12-for-37 (.324) with two home runs and seven RBI over his last nine games.

    • Crawford hits grand slam in win Saturday
      J.P. Crawford went 1-for-4 with a grand slam against the Angels on Saturday.

      Advice: Crawford took Reid Detmers deep with the bases loaded in the fourth inning to put the Mariners up 5-0. The home run was his fourth of the season and second since coming off the injured list on May 20th. Seattle isn’t the best lineup, but Crawford regularly bats leadoff and has shown some pop recently.       Alec Bohm went 2-for-4 with a run scored, a double and two RBI against the Cardinals on Saturday.

    • Ryan Mountcastle homers twice in O’s victory
      Ryan Mountcastle went 2-for-3 with two homers, three runs scored, four RBI, and a walk to power the Orioles to a 9-5 victory over the Rays on Saturday.

      Advice: Mountcastle sent one deep over the center field walk for a two-run blast off Taj Bradley in the first inning. He drew a walk to lead off the third and scored on a base hit by Jordan Westburg before taking Bradley deep once again for another two-run shot in the fourth. The 27-year-old first baseman breaks a 17-game home run drought with the two-homer day. He’s slashing .293/.333/.505 with eight home runs, 31 runs scored, and 24 RBI across 213 plate appearances.       Mitch Keller delivered a dominant performance in Saturday afternoon’s victory over the Blue Jays, racking up eight strikeouts over six innings of one-run baseball.

      Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander scattered just five hits and one walk on the day. The lone tally against him came in the sixth inning as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. singled, advanced on a line drive and raced around to score on a two-out single by Dan Vogelbach. That’s really the only time that they threatened. Keller generated 10 swings and misses on 106 pitches in the ballgame, posting a CSW of 28 percent.       Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swiped his second base of the season and scored the Blue Jays’ lone run in Saturday’s loss to the Pirates.

      Advice: The 25-year-old slugger smacked a one-out single off of Mitch Keller in the sixth inning, advanced to second on a line drive off the bat of Bo Bichette and scored the Jays’ only run on a two-out RBI single by Dan Vogelbach. He also drew a walk in the opening inning and swiped second base, but was left stranded there.
