    • David Hamilton steals two bags in victory over MIA
David Hamilton stole two bases while scoring twice and driving in a run in a victory over the Marlins in 12 innings on Thursday.

Advice: Hamilton went 1-for-5 in the contest with the walk. The speedy 26-year-old has provided plenty of thefts for the Red Sox and fantasy managers — and himself, of course, he should take pride in his work — and he’s now up to 23 of them in just 57 games. That’s certainly his best category, but Hamilton hasn’t been useless in others with a .267/.317/.418 slash over 165 at-bats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:56 pm

    • Orlando Arcia still out Thursday with tooth issue
Orlando Arcia (tooth) remains out of the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Giants.

Advice: Arcia hasn’t played since last weekend and underwent a dental procedure earlier this week to address an abscessed tooth. The 29-year-old shortstop figures to be ready to return at some point in the coming days. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:36 pm

    • Ramón Laureano remains out due to back issue
Ramón Laureano (back) remains out of the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Giants.

Advice: Laureano hasn’t played in over a week due to an ongoing back issue, which has morphed into more of an oblique concern of late. However, the Braves have yet to officially send him to the injured list. There’s no timetable for his return yet. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:34 pm

    • Fraley plates three as Reds defeat Yankees
Jake Fraley drove in three runs while going 2-for-4 with a triple Thursday against the Yankees.

Advice: All three runs were driven in on the triple, and it extended the Cincinnati lead to 8-2 in the seventh inning. The 29-year-old hasn’t shown much power in 2024 with just a .356 slugging mark, but his .278 average and .333 on-base percentage are nothing to sneeze at. Expect more pop from Fraley in the second half of the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:11 pm

    • Reds outright Austin Wynns to Triple-A
Reds sent C Austin Wynns outright to Triple-A Louisville.

Advice: Wynns passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment earlier this week and will remain with Cincinnati as emergency catching depth stashed at Triple-A Louisville. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:07 pm
    • Sitting again Thursday
Arcia (tooth) isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Thursday's game versus the Giants.

Advice: Arcia will miss a third straight game Thursday as he continues to deal with an abscessed tooth. Zack Short will pick up another start at shortstop as a result and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:07 pm

    • Outrighted to Louisville
Wynns cleared waivers Thursday and accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Louisville, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The 33-year-old backstop was dropped from the 40-man roster Tuesday following the return of Tyler Stephenson but will remain in the Reds' farm system instead of testing his luck in the open market. Wynns has slashed .250/.309/.410 in 110 plate appearances with the Bats, and he would be the first choice to return to Cincinnati should Stephenson or Luke Maile need to miss an extended period of time. • Homers in Wednesday's loss
Rocchio went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-2 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Rocchio has been decent lately, batting .267 with a pair of extra-base hits over his last 11 games. The shortstop is up to three homers this season, all of which have been in his last 21 contests. He still has a lackluster .218/.313/.315 slash line overall, but he's been trending in the right direction as gets more major-league experience. Rocchio has added 16 RBI, 34 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 73 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:55 am

    • Continues to lose playing time
Gordon is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Red Sox.

Advice: It's the fourth straight game on the bench for Gordon and the third consecutive time it's come against a right-hander. The 28-year-old looks to have lost his grip on a regular role versus righties, with Emmanuel Rivera being the primary beneficiary. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:27 am
