• Rogers allows one run in no-decision Monday
Trevor Rogers allowed one run in 5 ⅓ innings and got a no-decision against the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Rogers allowed six hits, two walks and struck out three. He’s not rebounding as well as we might’ve hoped this year. Rogers looks more like the version that had a 5.47 ERA in 2022 than the version that had a 2.64 ERA in 2021. He lowered his ERA to 5.65 and with a 4.26 xFIP there is some room for improvement, especially considering his .361 BABIP is higher than his career .327 BABIP and his strand rate is a little low at 64 percent. Still, Rogers’ strikeout and walk percentages are the worst of his career. He hasn’t completed six innings all year. This isn’t a recipe for winning games, especially on the Marlins. Rogers has just one win in 11 starts this season. The 26-year-old left-hander is set to face the Rangers at home this weekend.

  • King strikes out seven in no-decision Monday
Michael King allowed one run in five innings and got a no-decision in the Padres’ 2-1 victory over the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: King allowed three hits, one walk and struck out seven. He left the game with the score tied after five innings. King’s ERA is now 4.09 on the season. His 74 strikeouts this year rank among the top 10 in all of baseball. The 29-year-old right-hander is set to face the Royals on the road this weekend.

  • Collects three hits and a steal
Young went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and one RBI in Monday's victory over Atlanta.

Advice: Young managed to lace three singles and added his 12th RBI in the sixth inning. Most importantly to fantasy owners, the Washington center fielder swiped his 16th base, moving him into a tie for fourth-most in Major League Baseball. Overall, Young sports a .275/.329/.328 slash line in 146 plate appearances with 23 runs scored. He should continue to play full-time despite Lane Thomas (knee) returning Monday as the Nationals designated Victor Robles for assignment to open a roster spot for Thomas. • Swipes eighth bag
Rosario went 1-for-4 with a walk, a double and a stolen base in Monday's victory over Atlanta. He also had one RBI and two runs scored.

Advice: Rosario continues his resurgent May, managing to steal his eighth base of the season in the third inning. The veteran outfielder entered the game slashing .258/.319/.576 with six homers, six steals, 15 RBI and 14 runs scored in 73 plate appearances this month. Rosario's hot play should allow him to maintain a strong-side platoon role despite Lane Thomas (knee) returning from the injured list Monday. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago

  • Quality start again in win
Parker (4-2) earned the win Monday against Atlanta, allowing three runs on five hits and no walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: With a 100-pitch effort, Parker tossed his second straight quality start and third of the season. The Nationals starter generated a solid 17 whiffs to collect his six strikeouts. The 24-year-old lefty continues an impressive rookie campaign, now owning a 3.45 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 38:8 K:BB in 44.1 innings. Parker is tentatively scheduled to pitch against the Guardians on the road in his next start. Rotowire.com 18 minutes ago

  • Yields eight runs in loss
Morton (3-2) took the loss Monday against Washington, allowing eight runs on 12 hits and two walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: The 40-year-old Morton allowed a career-high 12 hits in this start as the Nationals laced eight singles, three doubles and one homer. However, he also managed to generate an impressive 18 whiffs en route to his seven punchouts. Overall, the Atlanta veteran owns a 4.29 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 59:23 K:BB in 56.2 innings this season. Morton is currently slated to face Oakland at home in his next start. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago

  • Nick Lodolo earns win in return from IL
Nick Lodolo limited the Cardinals to one run in 5 1/3 innings in the Reds’ 3-1 victory Monday.

Advice: Lodolo walked none and struck out three in an 81-pitch outing in his return from the injured list. It’s hard to say whether his body is going to hold up, but he’s a fine mixed-league SP while healthy. Rotoworld 25 minutes ago

  • Lucas Sims perfect in earning first save
Lucas Sims struck out two in a perfect ninth for his first save Monday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Sims got the call today with Alexis Díaz having worked the previous two days. The setup man had a tough first five weeks, posting a 6.35 ERA in his first 13 outings, but this makes eight straight scoreless appearances now. Rotoworld 25 minutes ago

  • Lance Lynn delivers quality start in defeat
Lance Lynn yielded three runs — one earned — in six innings Monday in a loss to the Reds.

Advice: Lynn has lowered his ERA from 4.17 to 3.45 in his last two outings, partly because of some unearned runs. Unfortunately, simply keeping the Cardinals in games isn’t enough to generate wins right now, and Lynn is 2-3 in spite of a solid open. Rotoworld 25 minutes ago
