    • Crushed by O's
Bradley (1-3) took the loss Saturday, surrendering nine runs on nine hits -- including four home runs -- and three walks over 3.1 innings as the Rays were downed 9-5 by the Orioles. He struck out three.

Advice: Baltimore put runs on the board in every inning the right-hander pitched, with Ryan Mountcastle taking him deep twice to lead the charge for the home squad. Bradley had served up only three homers in 23 innings this season since coming off the IL, but keeping the ball in the park was an issue for him in 2023 as well, and he's now been tagged for 30 homers in 131 career big-league innings. Bradley will look to rebound in his next start, which lines up to be a rematch with the O's back in Tampa Bay next weekend. Rotowire.com 55 minutes ago
    • Taj Bradley lit up for nine runs in loss to Orioles
Taj Bradley allowed nine runs across 3 1/3 innings in a loss to the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: Bradley had some trouble keeping the ball in the yard in Baltimore. Ryan Mountcastle got the scoring started with a two-run blast in the first inning. Anthony Santander followed with a solo homer. Jordan Westburg then led off the second with the third home run for the Orioles. Baltimore would bring six more runs in, including another two-run blast by Ryan Mountcastle in the fourth, before Bradley was relieved. The 23-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 5.81 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and a 32/9 K/BB ratio across 26 1/3 innings. He currently lines up for a matchup against the same Orioles in Tampa Bay next Saturday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:03 pm
    • Kodai Senga (shoulder) still just playing catch
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters Saturday that Kodai Senga (shoulder) has yet to progress to a bullpen session.

Advice: Mendoza adds that Senga is still playing light catch and there is no plan yet for him to advance to throwing off a mound. The 30-year-old righty has been out all season recovering from a right shoulder injury and remains without a definitive timeline to return. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:34 am

    • Lands on injured list
The Padres placed Darvish on the 15-day injured list Saturday with a left groin strain.

Advice: Darvish had to make an early exit from his start Wednesday against Miami due to hamstring problems, but the issue appears to instead be groin-related. His move to the IL is backdated to Thursday, allowing him to be eligible to return June 14. He will be joined by fellow starter Joe Musgrove (elbow) on the injured list while Randy Vasquez and Logan Gillaspie come up from Triple-A El Paso to take their places. • Padres put Yu Darvish on IL with left groin strain
Padres placed RHP Yu Darvish on the 15-day injured list with a left groin strain.

Advice: Darvish was originally believed to be dealing with a hamstring issue, but it turns out to be a groin strain that will keep him sidelined for at least a few weeks. The 37-year-old righty lasted just three innings on Wednesday against the Marlins before exiting due to hamstring tightness and holds a solid 3.20 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and a 53/15 K/BB ratio over 56 1/3 innings (11 starts) this season. There should be a clearer timetable for his return at some point in the coming days. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:25 am

    • Status still being evaluated
The Padres are still evaluating Darvish's left hamstring injury and have not ruled out him making his next scheduled start Tuesday versus the Angels, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Darvish had to be lifted from Wednesday's outing against the Marlins after his hamstring tightened up on him. While it's a good sign he hasn't been placed on the 10-day injured list yet, no final determination has been made regarding his status for his next turn or a possible IL stint. More clarity on Darvish's situation should be available in the coming days. Rotowire.com Friday, 1:49 pm

    • Yu Darvish (hamstring) could still make next start
Padres’ manager Mike Shildt told reporters on Friday that Yu Darvish (hamsting) is still being evaluated and that there’s a chance he’ll be able to make his next scheduled start on Tuesday.

Advice: The Padres haven’t placed Darvish on the injured list — and may not at all — depending on how he feels over the next couple of days. It sounds like they’ll continue to take things a day at a time with the 37-year-old hurler. Darvish has gone 4-3 with a 3.20 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and a 53/15 K/BB ratio over 56 1/3 innings in 11 starts on the season. Rotoworld Friday, 1:48 pm

    • Yu Darvish leaves start with hamstring tightness
Yu Darvish was pulled from Wednesday’s start against the Marlins after just three innings due to tightness in his left hamstring.

Advice: Before exiting, the 37-year-old hurler had given up three runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk. He’ll head for further evaluation to determine the severity of the injury, but you’d have to think that his next start — at a minimum — are in jeopardy at this point. • Dealing with hamstring tightness
Darvish was removed from his start Wednesday against the Marlins due to left hamstring tightness, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Darvish was pulled after three innings Wednesday, during which he allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk while striking out two batters. Manager Mike Shildt said the right-hander is undergoing imaging, and the Padres should offer an update on his status once the results come back. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:21 pm
