    • Cracks three extra-base hits
Blackmon went 3-for-4 with a solo homer, two doubles and two runs scored in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Blackmon collected two doubles off bulk reliever Luis Oritz before capping his evening with a 412-foot solo homer against David Bednar in the ninth. The 37-year-old veteran has shown signs of life in June, as he's hitting .347 (17-for-49) over 12 games this month. Overall, Blackmon sports a .266/.335/.411 slash line with three homers, five steals, 32 runs scored and 26 RBI. Rotowire.com 7 minutes ago

    • Expected to be fine
Cave received four stitches after being hit in the head by a line drive during pregame batting practice Friday, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Advice: Although Cave had to be carted off the field following the incident, he said after Friday's game that he felt fine and that there isn't any reason to suspect he might have suffered a concussion. It's possible the Rockies keep the 31-year-old outfielder sidelined for another game or two just to be safe, but a trip to the injured list doesn't seem likely. Cave has slashed .238/.302/.305 with seven RBI through 116 plate appearances on the season. Rotowire.com 9 minutes ago

    • Earns win in bulk role
Ortiz (3-2) picked up the win Friday against the Rockies, yielding one run on seven hits and no walks over five innings. He struck out three.

Advice: After Carmen Mlodzinski tossed a scoreless opening frame, Ortiz entered in the second for a scheduled bullpen day. The Pittsburgh righty held his own at Coors Field in his longest outing of the season, firing 69 pitches en route to his first win since May 5, which also came against Colorado. Ortiz has been a dependable option in the Pirates bullpen, throwing 43 innings with a 2.51 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 33:17 K:BB. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago

    • Suffers sixth loss
Feltner (2-6) took the loss Friday against the Pirates, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over 6.2 innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Despite generating 13 whiffs to produce eight punchouts, Feltner struggled with the long ball, yielding a season-worst three homers. All three roundtrippers were titanic blasts, as each traveled farther than 430 feet in the thin Colorado air. Feltner has been especially shaky since May 1, going 0-4 with a 6.17 ERA and 1.44 WHIP over 42.1 innings in eight starts. The Rockies right-hander gets no reprieve in his next start, as he's currently scheduled to face the Dodgers at home. Rotowire.com 12 minutes ago

    • Tagged with six runs
Peralta (4-4) yielded six runs on 10 hits and a walk over 5.1 innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Reds.

Advice: Peralta gave up two home runs in the loss, including a two-run shot by Jeimer Candelario in the fifth inning. He forced 16 whiffs Friday, marking the 12th time he's reached double digits this season. Peralta has posted a 7.90 ERA through three starts this month, bumping his season ERA up to 4.38 through 76 innings. He's now 1-4 since the start of May. Peralta's next start is lined up to be on the road against the Angels. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago

    • Alec Bohm delivers decisive two-run double
Alec Bohm went 3-for-5 with double and two RBI on Friday in the Phillies’ dramatic 5-3 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Bohm’s eleventh inning double put a stamp on what was maybe the game of the year so far with the Orioles and Phillies going back and forth all night with a long rain delay in between. It was his third hit of the night and second batted ball over 100 MPH. He continues to be a force in the middle of the Phillies’ lineup. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago

    • Seranthony Dominguez earns first save of season
Seranthony Dominguez pitched a scoreless 11th inning against the Orioles on Friday for his first save of the season. He struck out two and didn’t put anyone on base.

Advice: Dominguez shouldn’t be confused as a member of the Phillies’ closing committee despite earning this save as Jeff Hoffman, Matt Strahm, José Alvarado, and Orion Kerkering had already pitched in this one. Still, it was a positive sign to see him look so dominant in what’s been a trying season overall for the right-hander. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago
    • Falls to Yankees
Bello (6-4) took the loss Friday against the Yankees, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bello surrendered a two-run homer to Alex Verdugo in the first inning before the Yankees tacked on two more earned runs in the fifth. It's been a tough stretch for the 25-year-old Bello, who's struggled to a 7.04 ERA over his last six starts. Overall, his ERA sits at 5.00 on the season with a 1.40 WHIP and 56:24 K:BB across 63 innings. He'll look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week in Toronto. • Anthony Santander smashes game-tying homer
Anthony Santander went 2-for-5 with a solo home run against the Phillies on Friday.

Advice: Santander’s eighth inning home run was the first Matt Strahm has allowed all season and just the first run he’s allowed at all since opening day. Then Santander put one to the warning track in the 10th inning which nearly won the game for Baltimore. Also, his first inning single was smoked 114.4 MPH - the hardest he’s ever hit a ball in his career. That’s a great sign for the power hitting switch-hitter moving forward. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago
