The multi-game skid has temporarily erased a lot of the progress Rodriguez had made after a slow start to the season, as his slash line has dropped to a middling .247/.297/.327. However, there are underlying metrics that suggest Rodriguez is running into some tough luck as well -- he owns an expected batting average and slugging percentage of .272 and .434, respectively, and he's also boasting a career-best 21.7 percent line-drive rate. Still, Hoerner managed to extend his hitting streak to eight games, and he's batting .344 during that stretch.       Advice: Bohm raked in June with five home runs and 20 RBI in 24 games this month. However, Bohm was 1-for-16 over his previous four games and got back on track, blasting his 10th homer Sunday.       Falter (4-6) earned the win Sunday over Atlanta. He allowed one run on two hits with four walks and five strikeouts over five innings.

      Advice: Falter struggled with his command Sunday as he walked a career-high four batters but still did enough to get the win. He got out of trouble with double-play grounders in the fourth and fifth innings, and he managed to snap a streak of four straight losses. Falter had been having a dismal June prior to this start (0-4 and 6.63 ERA), but he'll take a 3.87 ERA and 1.14 WHIP into his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to come against the Mets next weekend.       Bailey Falter allowed just a run over five innings to get a win Sunday against Atlanta.

      Advice: Falter only allowed two hits, and he struck out five. He did have some control issues however with four free passes and 49-of-81 pitches were strikes. The 27-year-old lowers his ERA to 3.87 while improving his win-loss record to 4-6.
