• Luis Robert Jr. gets day off Saturday vs. Red Sox
Luis Robert Jr. is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Red Sox.

Advice: It appears to be a routine maintenance day for Robert, who has started four consecutive games for the White Sox since returning earlier this week from a lengthy stay on the injured list. There’s no reason for Chicago to push it from a health standpoint following an extended layoff, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Robert get some extra days off over the next few weeks to keep him fresh. • Not starting Saturday
Robert is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Boston.

Advice: Oscar Colas will shift to center field Saturday, while Zach DeLoach will start in right field against Red Sox right-hander Brayan Bello. In four games since returning from the injured list, Robert has gone 3-for-16 with a pair of homers and eight strikeouts. Rotowire.com Today, 9:12 am

  • Yordan Alvarez knocks in three in Astros’ win
Yordan Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a three-run double and a walk versus the Angels in Friday’s win.

Advice: Alvarez is 10-for-23 with three homers and nine RBI in six games this month, raising his OPS from .792 to .851. It’d be a big surprise if he’s not one of the AL’s best hitters the rest of the way. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:06 pm
  • Pops fourth homer
Robert went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Friday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Robert did his damage in the opening inning to tally his fourth home run of the season and second in four games since returning from the injured list. Manager Pedro Grifol suggested that Robert would require regular rest days, though he has started every matchup since being activated and has gone a combined 3-for-16 with eight strikeouts. • Ozuna smacks two doubles in loss Friday
Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two doubles against the Nationals on Friday.

Advice: On a night when the Braves offense had only four hits against Nationals starter Jake Irvin, Ozuna managed to double off Irvin twice. Ozuna is up to .316 on the season and could be in competition with Shohei Ohtani for the triple crown in the National League if he keeps this up. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm

  • Abrams steals ninth base, scores run in win Friday
CJ Abrams went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base against the Braves on Friday.

Advice: Abrams’ steal was his ninth of the season. After racking up 47 steals last year, fantasy managers sure would like to see him run more this year. The double was also nice to see as Abrams continues to hit better and for more power than most people expected when he was a prospect. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:13 pm

  • Lands on IL
The Astros placed Tucker on the 10-day injured list Friday with a right shin contusion, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Advice: Tucker has been held out of action since he fouled a ball off his right shin during Monday's game against the Cardinals. Manager Joe Espada said Friday that Tucker is feeling much better since then, per Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle, though the outfielder's recovery has progressed much slower than the team initially expected. His move to the IL is retroactive to Tuesday, which will allow him to potentially return next Friday for the start of Houston's weekend series with the Tigers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:20 pm

  • Astros place Kyle Tucker (shin) on 10-day IL
Astros placed OF Kyle Tucker on the 10-day injured list with a right shin contusion.

Advice: Tucker has been unable to play since leaving Monday’s game with a bruise on his left shin, and the Astros will place him on the injured list rather than play shorthanded. There’s no current timetable for when the 27-year-old can return, but fantasy managers will have to be without one of the best outfielders in baseball for at least a week. • Kyle Tucker (shin) remains out Friday vs. Angels
Kyle Tucker (shin) is not in the starting lineup for Friday’s game against the Angels.

Advice: Tucker will miss a third straight game while dealing with the shin contusion that he picked up Monday. The outfielder is considered day-to-day with a good chance to return to the lineup against the Halos before the end of the weekend. Trey Cabbage is starting in Tucker’s place.
