      Advice: Finnegan is now 17-for-19 in save chances this year, tied for fourth-most in the majors. The right-hander's allowed just two earned runs in his last 23 appearances (23.1 innings), lowering his ERA to 1.80 with a 0.92 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB across 25 innings this season.       Harvey (2-2) took the loss Thursday against Atlanta, coughing up three runs on four hits in an inning of relief.

      Advice: Taking the mound with the score tied 2-2, Harvey got two quick outs before the wheels came off, with the rally highlighted by Marcell Ozuna's two-run homer on a slider that caught too much of the plate. Harvey had been scored upon only once in his prior 10 appearances, and the long ball was just the second he's served up this season in 31.1 innings. The right-hander has been generally outstanding as the Nationals' top setup man, posting a 2.87 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 34:6 K:BB, and his 18 holds already has him one away from his career high.       Advice: Pepiot got off to an ugly start Tuesday, allowing three runs in the opening frame. However, he'd proceed to blank Miami over his final five frames while allowing just one additional hit while the Rays rallied for a 9-5 victory. The 26-year-old Pepiot now has 15 strikeouts over his last two starts (11.2 innings). His ERA sits at 3.96 on the season with a 0.96 WHIP and 59:16 K:BB across 10 outings (52.1 innings).       Ryan Pepiot allowed three runs on six hits in six innings in a win over the Marlins on Tuesday.

      Advice: Pepiot struck out eight and walked none and now has 15 strikeouts over 11 2/3 innings over his last two starts. The 26-year-old earned 13 whiffs on his four-seam fastball and 17 whiffs overall on 52 swings for a 33 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW. His first season in Tampa Bay has been a success thanks in part to better fastball usage up in the zone. He’ll carry a 3.96 ERA into a tough start against the Orioles next week.       Finnegan picked up the save Sunday against Cleveland, allowing one hit and zero walks while striking out zero in a scoreless ninth inning.

      Advice: Finnegan's strong season continued Sunday, and his 16 saves are tied for fourth in the major leagues.       Advice: The only pitchers with more saves than Finnegan this season are Ryan Helsley, Emmanuel Clase, and Robert Suárez while he’s tied with Clay Holmes.       Advice: Finnegan entered the game with a two-run lead in the ninth and issued a leadoff walk to Ozzie Albies to put himself in an early jam. However, the right-handed reliever was able to retire the next three batters in succession to notch his 15th save of the season. Finnegan now has three scoreless appearances since blowing the save against the Phillies on May 18, posting a 5:1 K:BB over that stretch.       Advice: That’s already the 15th save for Finnegan, who is currently on-pace to procure over 40 of them in 2024. Impressive regardless, but especially when you see the Nationals have only won 26 games. The 32-year-old right-hander also has a 1.64 ERA, so it’s fair to say he’s pitched well in those chances.
