    • Surrenders five runs Saturday
Greene allowed five runs on three hits and five walks while striking out five batters over six innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Greene was staked to an early 4-0 lead but gave it all back when he served up a grand slam to Seiya Suzuki in the bottom of the second inning. All three runners on base for the big homer had reached via walk, so Greene's wildness played a big part in his poor stat line. This was the second time the right-hander has walked five batters in a contest this season, and his 30 free passes on the campaign are fourth-most in the majors. • Greene gives up grand slam, five runs vs. Cubs
Hunter Greene allowed five runs in six innings and got a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Greene gave up three hits, walked five and struck out five. He had won two of his previous three starts and hadn’t allowed more than three earned runs in his last six starts. Greene only allowed three hits but one of them was a grand slam off the bat of Seiya Suzuki. His ERA is up to 3.44 on the season now. He’ll get another chance against the Cubs at home next week.

    • Willy Adames singles home game-winner in extras
Willy Adames drove in three runs including the game-winner in the 10th to give the Brewers a 4-3 win over the White Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Adames had three hits in the contest, and the biggest was a game-winning infield single off Michael Kopech in the bottom of the 10th. Adames has been an RBI machine throughout the year, and is already up to 42 on the season. He’s also added nine homers and eight steals, so it’s fair to say Adames has been more fantasy helper than hurter so far in 2024. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:18 pm

    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swipes base in loss to Bucs
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swiped his second base of the season and scored the Blue Jays’ lone run in Saturday’s loss to the Pirates.

Advice: The 25-year-old slugger smacked a one-out single off of Mitch Keller in the sixth inning, advanced to second on a line drive off the bat of Bo Bichette and scored the Jays’ only run on a two-out RBI single by Dan Vogelbach. He also drew a walk in the opening inning and swiped second base, but was left stranded there. Guerrero finished the day 2-for-3 and is now slashing .292/.390/.406 with five homers, 25 RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:58 pm
    • Kodai Senga (shoulder) still just playing catch
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters Saturday that Kodai Senga (shoulder) has yet to progress to a bullpen session.

Advice: Mendoza adds that Senga is still playing light catch and there is no plan yet for him to advance to throwing off a mound. The 30-year-old righty has been out all season recovering from a right shoulder injury and remains without a definitive timeline to return. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:34 am

    • Breather Saturday
Kwan is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus Washington.

Advice: Kwan will head to the bench after he went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in his return to the lineup Friday after missing nearly four weeks with a hamstring injury. David Fry will slot in at left field while Kyle Manzardo enters the lineup at designated hitter and bats sixth against the Nationals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:23 am

    • Steven Kwan not in Saturday’s lineup vs. Nationals
Steven Kwan is not in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Nationals.

Advice: Kwan will take a seat on Saturday afternoon with rookie southpaw Mitchell Parker toeing the rubber for Washington at Progressive Field. The 26-year-old contact-oriented outfielder didn’t show any signs of rust on Friday when he tallied three hits and reached base safely in four of his five plate appearances during his return from the injured list. • Knocks three hits in loss
Witt went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 11-8 loss to the Padres.

Advice: Witt had multiple hits in five of his last six games in May, adding seven RBI despite just two extra-base hits in that span. The shortstop hit .315 through the end of April and exactly matched that mark in May, showing excellent consistency. He's added a stellar .917 OPS, nine home runs, 42 RBI, 51 runs scored, 16 stolen bases, 16 doubles and six triples over 59 contests this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:11 am

    • Julien, Kepler, Larnach, Kirilloff out Saturday vs. lefty
Edouard Julien, Max Kepler, Trevor Larnach and Alex Kirilloff are not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Astros.

Advice: No surprises here as Minnesota continues rotating their quartet of left-handed bats in and out of the lineup depending on matchups. It’ll be Carlos Santana, Manuel Margot, Kyle Farmer and Ryan Jeffers getting the nod to face Astros southpaw Framber Valdez. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:18 am
