      Advice: The rookie shortstop was a thorn in the side of Atlanta pitching all night, putting together a stellar night out of the bottom of the order. Schuemann gave his average a 28-point boost to .266 with the multi-hit effort, his third in the last eight contests. He's also scored at least one run in five consecutive games, and his prolific performance Saturday also included his first game over the last eight without a strikeout.       Steele allowed five runs (one earned) on seven hits and four walks while striking out five batters over five innings in a no-decision against Cincinnati on Saturday.

      Advice: Steele's fantasy stat line wasn't disastrous since only one of the five runs charged to him was earned, but he was far from sharp, especially in terms of control. The southpaw hit a batter in addition to issuing a season-high four walks, and he threw just 58 of 98 pitches for strikes. Steele is usually much better at limiting free passes -- before Saturday, he had issued only seven walks over six starts -- so this was likely just a bump in the road for him.       Advice: Rooker extended the Athletics' lead to 8-3 with his 421-foot blast in the fourth inning with Max Schuemann aboard, and he then erased a 9-8 deficit in the sixth by bringing home Miguel Andujar and Schuemann with a timely two-bagger. The pair of extra-base hits pushed Rooker's total in that category to 24 (out of 49 total hits), and he's now reached safely in 12 straight games while getting on at a stellar .388 clip in that span.       Advice: This was Phillips' first appearance in nearly a month due to a hamstring strain. He looked rust-free, throwing 11 pitches (seven strikes) to set down the bottom of the Rockies' order for his ninth save of the season. Phillips has a 0.61 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 18:4 K:BB over 14.2 innings, and he's yet to take a blown save this year. It doesn't appear he'll be eased into the closer role again, not that he needs to be handled with kid gloves considering his track record in high-leverage spots over the last two years.       Advice: Raley built Seattle's lead to six runs with his solo shot in the sixth inning. He recently dealt with a lat injury, but the issue turned out to be minor, as Raley has started each of the Mariners' past two games.       Advice: Yamamoto bounced back from a loss his last time out with a strong performance. He's earned quality starts in four of his last six outings, allowing 13 runs over 37 innings in that span. The rookie right-hander has a 3.32 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 76:14 K:BB over 65 innings across 12 starts this season.       Advice: Bliss made a big contribution from the No. 9 slot in the batting order, reaching base three times and scoring three of the Mariners' nine runs. The infielder probably wasn't in many fantasy lineups, but he made a big impact for managers who rolled with him by swiping a pair of bags.       Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-5 with an RBI against the Cubs on Saturday.

      Advice: It was a relatively quiet night for the Reds offense. Despite scoring five runs, four of them were unearned thanks to an error by Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki. Candelario chipped in later with an RBI single. After hitting .189 in April, he hit .247 with three home runs in 24 games in May.
