    • Dazzles in return from injured list
Rodriguez didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Mariners, yielding just one hit and three walks over six shutout innings. He recorded seven strikeouts.

Advice: Rodriguez missed a little more than two weeks with right shoulder inflammation and made his return Saturday without going out on a rehab assignment first. He certainly showed that he didn't need one, as didn't give up his first and only hit on the night until there was one out in the sixth inning (and even that was just an infield single). Rodriguez was limited to just 82 pitches in his first start back, but he still managed to complete six frames because he was so efficient. The righty displayed his normal velocity and induced 13 swinging strikes on his 82 pitches. Rodriguez missed out on a win after the Orioles' bullpen struggled, but he looked as good as his fantasy managers could have hoped for. Rotowire.com 4 minutes ago

    • Jake Meyers hits solo homer in loss to Brewers
Jake Meyers hit a solo homer in a loss to the Brewers on Saturday.

Advice: Meyers got the Astros to within a run with a solo homer in the fifth off of Bryse Wilson. The outfielder also singled twice for a three-hit game, and it bumps his average up to .286. He’s quietly put together a strong first third of the season even while the Astros have disappointed as a collective. Rotoworld 22 minutes ago

    • McArthur picks up 11th save Saturday
James McArthur allowed two hits, struck out two and picked up his 11th save against the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: McArthur allowed back-to-back singles to start the ninth inning before getting Abraham Toro to line out and striking out JJ Bleday. He then struck out Brent Rooker with the game on the line. McArthur’s ERA is 4.35, but he continues to rack up the saves for Royals and fantasy managers. Rotoworld 24 minutes ago
    • William Contreras hits three-run blast vs. Astros
William Contreras connected on a three-run homer to help the Brewers to a 4-2 win over the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Contreras absolutely shellacked a Justin Verlander offering to center — travelling an estimated 428 feet — to give the Brew Crew a 4-1 lead. The 26-year-old backstop has been sensational in 2024 with seven homers, 37 RBI and an OPS of .990. That’s a star level of offense even before you consider that he’s doing it as a catcher. • Mixed bag in no-decision
Castillo did not factor into the decision Saturday in Baltimore, permitting two runs on four hits and four walks over six innings. He struck out two.

Advice: The four walks were a season high and the two strikeouts were by far a season low for Castillo. He still managed a seven straight quality start, though, keeping his team in it before the Mariners' offense rallied late. It's the first no-decision of the season for Castillo, who is just 4-5 in spite of a 3.28 ERA, including a 2.01 mark across his last seven outings. Rotowire.com 24 minutes ago

    • Trevor Megill strikes out three in save vs. Astros
Trevor Megill struck out three in a scoreless ninth in a save against the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: That’s the sixth save of the season for the 30-year-old right-hander. Megill allowed just one hit, so it’s up to you to decide whether he struck out the side or not. Megill should continue to see save chances while Devin Williams recovers from injury. Rotoworld 25 minutes ago
    • Bryse Wilson pulled in fifth against Astros
Bryse Wilson allowed two runs while throwing 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Neither Wilson nor Justin Verlander were able to go five innings in this one; a little more surprising for Verlander than Wilson, but both failed to qualify for a chance at a win. Wilson just hasn’t been able to get deep into games, but his 2.79 ERA has shown that he has been effective in his limited innings. The 26-year-old faces Boston on Friday. Rotoworld 26 minutes ago
