    • Francisco Lindor leaves the yard in rout of Nats
Francisco Lindor went 2-for-5 with a homer and a pair of runs scored on Wednesday as the Mets routed the Nationals in Washington.

Advice: The dynamic 30-year-old shortstop went back-to-back with Luis Torrens off of Patrick Corbin in the sixth inning, with his 428-foot (109.3 mph EV) bomb increasing the Mets’ lead to 4-0. He also led off the seventh inning with a single and scored as J.D. Martinez bounced into a double play. With his two-hit attack, Lindor is now hitting .235/.302/.410 to go along with 10 long balls, 31 RBI and nine stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 4:38 pm
    • Sitting down Wednesday
Garver isn't in the Mariners' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Garver appeared to break out of his slump Sunday with a 2-for-4 performance against the Angels, but he will now get a breather following Tuesday's 0-for-3 outing. Mitch Haniger will fill in as Seattle's designated hitter while batting seventh. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:26 pm
    • Josh Lowe returns to lineup against Marlins
Josh Lowe, who didn’t start Tuesday in his return from the injured list, is in the lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Marlins.

Advice: Josh Lowe, Brandon Lowe and Ben Rortvedt are all starting for the Rays today, even though the Marlins are throwing a left-hander in Braxton Garrett. Factoring in big time there is that the Rays also faced left-handers on Sunday and Tuesday, had Monday off and have another day off tomorrow; they can’t have all of their lefties sitting around that long without playing. Josh Lowe is less likely to be treated as a true platoon guy than the Rays’ other left-handed hitters, assuming that he can stay healthy from here and resume producing like he did last season. • Sitting out Wednesday
Murphy (elbow) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Boston.

Advice: Murphy departed Tuesday's 8-3 win after being struck on the right elbow by a pitch. X-rays came back negative, and Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the swelling on the elbow has mostly subsided. Murphy could be ready to go as soon as Thursday, but Travis d'Arnaud will fill in at catcher for Atlanta on Wednesday. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:41 am

    • Happ drives in go-ahead runs vs. White Sox
Ian Happ went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: In a game that went back and forth throughout, Happ dealt the final blow when he swatted a two-RBI double to put the Cubs up 7-6 with one out in the eighth. Happ is now sitting on 26 RBI for the season and has six homers to go with a slash line of .232/.335/.394. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:34 pm

    • Delivers clutch effort in win
Happ went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Happ had his first three-hit effort since April 16 and his last hit was his biggest, a two-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning that turned a one-run deficit into a one-run lead for the Cubs. While the outfielder is batting just .232 on the season, he's up to .303 over his last 10 games, and his track record suggests he should continue to trend upward. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:31 pm

    • Foley earns one-out save in win over Rangers
Jason Foley earned his 12th save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Foley was brought on in relief of Tyler Horton with two outs in the ninth to secure the win for the Tigers. Foley needed just five pitches to force Wyatt Langford into a ground-out and has not allowed a run in his three appearances this month. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:11 pm

    • X-rays negative
Initial X-rays on Murphy's right elbow came back negative after he was hit by a pitch during Tuesday's win over the Red Sox, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Murphy's elbow swelled up significantly immediately following the HBP, though he appears to have escaped the incident without suffering any structural damage. The catcher also said after Tuesday's game that he is confident he'll be able to avoid the injured list and get back to playing within a few days. Travis d'Arnaud would start behind the plate for any games that Murphy may have to miss. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:18 pm

    • X-rays come back negative on Sean Murphy’s elbow
Sean Murphy is day-to-day with a right elbow contusion.

Advice: The positive news here is that X-rays came back negative after Murphy was hit by a pitch on the right elbow during the ninth inning of Tuesday’s game against the Red Sox, which led to his removal from the contest. It doesn’t sound like he’s going to wind up missing too much time, if any. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:58 pm
