      Francisco Lindor went 2-for-5 with a homer and a pair of runs scored on Wednesday as the Mets routed the Nationals in Washington.

      Advice: The dynamic 30-year-old shortstop went back-to-back with Luis Torrens off of Patrick Corbin in the sixth inning, with his 428-foot (109.3 mph EV) bomb increasing the Mets’ lead to 4-0. He also led off the seventh inning with a single and scored as J.D. Martinez bounced into a double play. Factoring in big time there is that the Rays also faced left-handers on Sunday and Tuesday, had Monday off and have another day off tomorrow; they can’t have all of their lefties sitting around that long without playing. Josh Lowe is less likely to be treated as a true platoon guy than the Rays’ other left-handed hitters, assuming that he can stay healthy from here and resume producing like he did last season.       Jason Foley earned his 12th save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Murphy's elbow swelled up significantly immediately following the HBP, though he appears to have escaped the incident without suffering any structural damage. The catcher also said after Tuesday's game that he is confident he'll be able to avoid the injured list and get back to playing within a few days.
