    • Excellent again in hard-luck loss
Glasnow (6-4) was stuck with the loss Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out nine over six innings.

Advice: Jack Suwinski's solo home run in the third inning was the lone tally against Glasnow, though it proved to be enough to leave him with the loss in a 1-0 shutout defeat. Still, it was another strong outing from the 30-year-old Glasnow, who now has eight or more strikeouts in seven of his last eight starts. His ERA is down to 2.93 on the year with a 0.90 WHIP and a league-leading 104 strikeouts through 13 starts (80 innings). Glasnow's currently lined up for an intriguing road matchup with the Yankees this weekend. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 6:39 pm

    • Completes extended bullpen session
Gray (groin) threw 40-to-50 pitches during a bullpen session Monday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reported Tuesday.

Advice: Gray will throw another bullpen session Wednesday, and if all goes well, manager Bruce Bochy said the right-hander could be an option to return from the 15-day injured list to start Sunday versus the Giants, per Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News. Once Gray is reinstated, Jose Urena will likely be pushed out of the rotation. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:49 pm

    • Jon Gray (groin) throws bullpen session on Tuesday
Jon Gray (groin) threw a bullpen session on Tuesday.

Advice: Gray threw roughly 50 pitches in the side session and there should be some clarity on his next steps in the coming days. The 32-year-old righty hit the injured list last month with a right groin strain. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:47 pm

    • Yields three home runs
Gausman (4-4) took the loss Monday against Baltimore, allowing six earned runs on six hits and one walk in 6.1 innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Gausman gave up three home runs Monday after allowing just two over his past nine starts. The 33-year-old had notched three-consecutive quality starts prior to Monday's setback, but he has been unable to find his footing this season. Through 60.2 innings, Gasuman holds a 4.60 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP, both of which are his worst since 2019. The right-hander will look to rebound in his next start, tentatively scheduled for this weekend in Oakland. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:28 pm

    • Gausman allows six in loss to Orioles Monday
Kevin Gausman allowed six runs in 6 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Orioles on Monday.

Advice: Gausman gave up six hits, walked one and struck out three. He had thrown three quality starts in a row, but couldn’t keep the momentum going against the Orioles. Gausman had allowed five home runs in 11 previous starts, but gave up a home run to Anthony Santander and two home runs to Austin Hays. His ERA is now 4.60 on the season. The 33-year-old right-hander will look to bounce back against the Athletics on the road this weekend. Rotoworld Monday, 6:41 pm

    • Jon Gray (groin) to face live hitters on Monday
Jon Gray (groin) is scheduled to face live hitters on Monday.

Advice: The Rangers remain hopeful that Gray will only need a minimum stint on the injured list, so there’s a lot riding on Monday’s session. If all goes well there, he could be cleared to return to the rotation later in the week without needing a minor league rehab assignment. The 32-year-old hurler has been sidelined since May 22 due to a right groin strain. Rotoworld Monday, 5:47 am

    • Scheduled for live batters
Gray (groin) is scheduled to face live hitters Monday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: A clearer indication of when Gray could return from the 15-day injured list should emerge following Monday's session. At the time of his placement on the IL, the right-hander wasn't expected to miss much more than the minimum 15 days. Per Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News, Gray could be an option to rejoin the Texas rotation as soon as Friday versus the Giants if Monday's live session goes off without a hitch. • Perfect for save No. 15
Iglesias picked up the save Sunday against Oakland, tossing a perfect inning with no strikeouts.

Advice: Iglesias needed just nine pitches to retire Zack Gelof, Kyle McCann and Max Schuemann in order. The 34-year-old is 15-for-17 on save chances this season and has allowed one hit in his last five innings of work. Overall, Iglesias has the fourth-most saves in the NL and owns a 2.42 ERA through 22.1 innings. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:14 pm
    • Crumbles against Yankees
Doval (2-1) allowed four runs on four hits and two walks in a blown save chance Sunday. He recorded two outs while taking a loss against the Yankees.

Advice: Doval entered the game with a 5-3 lead in the ninth inning and was quickly jumped by the top of the Yankees' lineup. With one out in the inning, he yielded an RBI triple to Anthony Volpe, a go-ahead, two-run shot to Juan Soto and an RBI double to Giancarlo Stanton. Doval had allowed four earned runs over his previous 15.2 innings before Sunday's ugly outing. His ERA shot up from 2.78 to 4.24 with a 30:17 K:BB through 23.1 frames. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:44 pm
