    • Laces timely double Tuesday
France went 1-for-3 with a two-run double, a walk and a run in a win over the Athletics on Tuesday.

Advice: The veteran infielder squared up for a third-inning two-bagger that brought home J.P. Crawford and Josh Rojas with the first two runs of the night, France's eighth and ninth RBI over the last nine games. France has shown a bit more pop in his bat than usual during that span, posting four extra-base hits overall (two doubles, two home runs) on his way to a .333 average and 1.044 OPS across 36 plate appearances. The sample has also featured a welcome increase and drop in walk and strikeout rates, respectively, as he's drawn free passes at a 13.9 percent clip and struck out in a modest 16.7 percent of his plate appearances. • Perfect at plate Friday
France went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a two-run double and a walk in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: France ended up a triple shy of the cycle, but he hasn't legged out a three-bagger since 2022. The infielder went 14-for-39 (.359) with three homers and nine RBI over his last 12 games in May, making him one of the Mariners' hotter hitters. For the year, France has a .260/.325/.411 slash line, seven homers, 24 RBI, 18 runs scored and eight doubles over 55 contests while seeing a starting role at first base. • Bonjour: Ty France hits go-ahead homer vs. Angels
Ty France went 3-for-3 with three RBI including a go-ahead homer in the eighth to give the Mariners a 5-4 win against the Angels on Friday.

Advice: Bonjour. France drove in two runs with a double in the first, and then broke a 4-4 tie with a homer off Andrew Moore. The 29-year-old got off to a very mediocre start, but he’s swung the bat well enough as of late to improve his slash to .260/.325/.411 with seven homers and 24 RBI. Far from elite numbers, but France appears to be figuring things out as of late. Worth a look for those in need at a corner-infield spot. Rotoworld Friday, 10:03 pm
