      Ryan McMahon singled and drew a pair of walks as the Rockies were shut out by Gavin Stone and a host of Dodgers’ relievers on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.

      Advice: As a team, the Rockies totaled just five hits in the contest, with only one of them (a double by Charlie Blackmon) going for extra bases.       Ha-Seong Kim doubled and tripled while driving in three runs in a victory over the Royals on Saturday.

      Advice: All three runs came on a double, and it gave the Padres a 6-3 lead. The triple showed off Kim’s impressive speed, and it was already the third three-bagger of the year.       Advice: Kim led off the third inning with a triple before coming around to score on a Luis Arraez sacrifice fly. He'd then provide what proved to be the game-deciding hit in the fourth, driving in three runs with a base-clearing double to put the Padres ahead 5-3. Kim's now 4-for-10 with three extra-base hits in his last three games.       Advice: Cronenworth was a key part of San Diego's nine-run eighth inning, knocking in the first two runs of the frame with a single and capping the outburst with an RBI double. The pair of base knocks were much-needed for the second baseman, as he had just one hit over his previous 14 at-bats prior to the big inning.       Ha-Seong Kim belted a solo homer on Wednesday in the Padres’ blowout loss to the Marlins.

      Advice: There weren’t a whole lot of positives for San Diego in this one as Kim’s third-inning shot off Marlins starter Braxton Garrett represented their lone tally in a one-sided affair.     • Report: Blue Jays have interest in Ryan McMahon
      According to MLB Network’s Jon Morosi, the Rockies are unlikely to move Ryan McMahon this summer, though the Blue Jays and other clubs have interest in him.

      Advice: McMahon has busted out or at least enjoyed an extended hot streak this season, coming in at .286/.366/.483 to date. That’s a 135 OPS+ from a guy who has never before topped 100 in a season. Still, the Rockies, who have McMahon signed through 2027, have never heard of the concept of selling high.
