    • Notches second save of June
McArthur earned a save against the Marlins on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.

Advice: McArthur entered in the ninth frame with Kansas City up by three runs and made quick work of Miami, retiring the side in order on 10 pitches. That netted him his first save since June 6 and his 13th overall this season. McArthur's 18-day span between saves was of no fault of his own -- he didn't see any save opportunities during that stretch, and the only save by any KC pitcher during that period came in a game during which McArthur was used in a high-leverage spot and ended up with the victory. With that in mind, McArthur remains the top option for save chances in the Royals' bullpen. Rotowire.com 24 minutes ago
    • Trevor Megill records 16th save for Brewers
Trevor Megill was perfect in the ninth in earning his 16th save Monday against the Rangers.

Advice: Remember when it was Abner Uribe and then Joel Payamps getting saves for the Brewers. Megill didn’t earn his first until Apr. 25, so all 16 of his have come in a two-month span. Rotoworld Today, 9:15 pm

    • McArthur picks up 13th save against Marlins
James McArthur tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: The save was McArthur’s 13th of the season. He’s been a little shaky this season with a 4.70 ERA, but the Royals don’t necessarily have a better option to turn to for saves. It was just McArthur’s second save in the month of June, but it looks like the Royals will continue to lean on him when the opportunity arises. Rotoworld Today, 7:45 pm
    • Riley belts fifth home run in last 10 games
Austin Riley went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Cardinals on Monday.

Advice: Riley’s home run was his eighth of the season. He belted a solo shot off Cardinals starter Lance Lynn in the fifth inning. Riley is heating up after a slow start to the season. In his last 10 games, he’s 15-for-34 (.441) with five home runs and 10 RBI. Riley is hitting just .251 with a .745 OPS on the season, but could provide first round level production the rest of the way. Rotoworld Today, 7:26 pm

    • Fans seven in quality start
Houck allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk over 6.2 innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out seven during the win against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Houck gave up just one run through six frames before the Blue Jays put two more runs on his final line during their five-run seventh inning. He's produced six quality starts in his last seven outings, giving him 13 through 16 total starts. Houck owns a terrific 2.18 ERA with a 101:18 K:BB through 103.1 frames. His next start is projected to be at home against the Padres. Rotowire.com Today, 7:22 pm

    • Houck allows two earned runs in no-decision Monday
Tanner Houck allowed three runs (two earned) in 6 2/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Red Sox’ 7-6 victory over the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Houck gave up five hits, walked one and struck out seven. Boston only scored two runs while he was in the game before coming back to win late. Houck’s ERA is now 2.18 on the year and his 101 strikeouts on the season rank inside the top 15 in all of baseball. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Padres at home this weekend.

    • Goes on paternity leave
The Red Sox placed Wong on the paternity leave list Monday, Chris Henrique of Beyond the Monster reports

Advice: Wong's placement on the paternity list explains why he's out of the lineup for Monday's contest against the Blue Jays. He will likely miss the entirety of the three-game set versus Toronto before rejoining the active roster Friday, when the Red Sox take on the Padres. Wong will put his season-best 13-game hitting streak on hold while he's away from the Red Sox. Rotowire.com Today, 12:05 pm

    • Getting rest Monday
Wong is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: Wong will get a break after he started behind the plate in all three of the Red Sox's games in Cincinnati over the weekend. Reese McGuire will receive the starting nod at catcher in Monday's series opener while Wong puts his 13-game hitting streak on hold, barring an appearance off the bench as a pinch hitter.
