It’s now the fourth time in the last six games that Cowser has started in center field, and the fact that both Cowser and Mullins hit left-handed suggests that Baltimore might have more confidence in the rookie right now. Austin Hays is also starting in left field for the fourth time in the last five games, including three games against right-handed pitchers.
