Ty Blach delivered a quality start against the Phillies on Friday, allowing two runs over 6 2/3 innings in a no-decision.
Advice: The runs came on homers from Nick Castellanos and Edmundo Sora in the fifth, but Blach remained in and pitched two more innings afterwards. He was actually at just 78 pitches when came out. Blach has a solid 4.55 ERA in four starts and three relief appearances for the Rockies, even though he’s fanned just 12 batters in 27 2/3 innings.
