• Ezequiel Tovar goes 4-for-6, wins game in 11th
Ezequiel Tovar went 4-for-6 and delivered a game-winning hit in the bottom of the 11th as the Rockies upset the Phillies 3-2 on Friday.

Advice: Jacob Stallings previously tied this one up by homering in the bottom of the ninth. Neither team scored in the 10th, and the Phillies also came up empty in the 11th before the Rockies won it. Tovar had a double and a second RBI in the game. His first career four-hit game pushed his average up to .285 for the season. Rotoworld 39 minutes ago
  • Ty Blach works into seventh in victory
Ty Blach delivered a quality start against the Phillies on Friday, allowing two runs over 6 2/3 innings in a no-decision.

Advice: The runs came on homers from Nick Castellanos and Edmundo Sora in the fifth, but Blach remained in and pitched two more innings afterwards. He was actually at just 78 pitches when came out. Blach has a solid 4.55 ERA in four starts and three relief appearances for the Rockies, even though he’s fanned just 12 batters in 27 2/3 innings. • Cristopher Sánchez limits Rockies to one run
Cristopher Sánchez held the Rockies to one run in 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision Friday.

Advice: Sánchez’s velocity has been great in his last two starts, though it didn’t lead to strikeouts tonight (two) at Coors Field like it did last time (eight) against the Nationals. Sánchez lowered his ERA to 3.15, but he remained stuck on two wins. Rotoworld 39 minutes ago
  • José Alvarado gives up game-tying homer to Rockies
José Alvarado took a blown save after giving up a game-tying homer to Jacob Stallings in the ninth inning Friday against the Rockies.

Advice: Alvarado has a couple of losses, but this is his first blown save to go along with nine saves and four holds. He’s still the clear favorite for saves in Philadelphia. Incredibly, he’s walked just two batters in his last 18 appearances, spanning 16 2/3 innings. Rotoworld 39 minutes ago
  • Swipes second bag
Benintendi went 0-for-4 with a stolen base Friday against the Orioles.

Advice: Benintendi has hit just .145 across 19 games in May and is hitless in five of his last seven starts. He did manage to swipe his second bag of the season, though that's hardly a consolation given his .183/.213/.263 line across 183 plate appearances for the season. Rotowire.com 40 minutes ago
  • Jon Berti likely IL bound with calf injury
Jon Berti suffered a calf injury during Friday’s game and likely will go on the injured list.

Advice: The Yankees could bring DJ LeMahieu back from his rehab early with Berti out, but that’s not the current play. Perhaps Oswald Peraza will get the call. Oswaldo Cabrera will play third base until LeMahieu is activated early next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:27 pm

  • Chris Flexen pulled in fifth against Orioles
Chris Flexen yielded four runs in 4 2/3 innings Friday in a no-decision versus the Orioles.

Advice: The White Sox are holding out hope that Flexen might bring back a minor prospect at the trade deadline, but he’s not doing them much good in the meantime. This leaves him with a 5.69 ERA in nine starts and two relief appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:16 pm

  • Andrew Vaughn homers, doubles against Orioles
Andrew Vaughn had a solo homer, an RBI double and a walk Friday versus the Orioles.

Advice: Vaughn had dipped again recently, entering tonight in a 1-for-20 slump. He definitely seems to be swinging better now than he was a month ago, but he’s probably not going to get to the point at which he overcomes being part of such a bad offense in order to contribute in mixed leagues. • Pops third homer
Triolo went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Friday against Atlanta.

Advice: Triolo has struggled at the plate for much of the season, though Friday's long ball was his second in his last seven games. He's also hit .280 with four runs scored and six RBI in that span. So long as Ke'Bryan Hayes (back) is sidelined, Triolo should remain the primary starter at third base for Pittsburgh.
