• Showcases power, speed
Lindor went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two stolen bases during Sunday's 4-2 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Lindor notched his fourth homer of the last nine games, tagging Lance Lynn for a solo shot in the sixth frame. The shortstop also notched his 14th multi-steal game of his career, marking his second and third pilfers of the campaign. During his last nine appearances, Lindor is batting .306 with nine RBI and six runs scored. Rotowire.com 3 minutes ago

  • Swipes two more bases
Rocchio went 2-for-3 with two runs scored during Sunday's extra-inning loss to Atlanta.

Advice: Rocchio provided two of the Guardian's three runs, picking up his first multi-hit game since April 6 (16 games). The 23-year-old has stolen four bases this season and has scored 12 times in 90 plate appearances. However, Rocchio is still chasing his first big-league homer through 48 games and is slashing .215/.292/.304. Rotowire.com Today, 7:36 pm

  • Fills in at first base
Steer started at first base and went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI in Sunday's 4-3 loss to Texas.

Advice: Steer moved from his usual left field to first base, replacing the injured Christian Encarnacion-Strand (hand). The run batted in was just his second in the last 14 games, but Speer continues to the lead the club with 20 RBI through 28 games. The steal was his seventh, nearly half of the 15 he had over 156 games in 2023. Encarnacion-Strand may miss a few more games, per Mark Sheldon of MLB.com, and Steer could add to his games played at first base. So far, he's made four appearances there. Rotowire.com Today, 6:14 pm

  • Delivers game-winning run
Marte went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 3-2 win over Seattle.

Advice: Marte's two-out double in the eighth plated Kevin Newman with the winning run. It was the second consecutive game that Marte has hit out of the three-hole, as manager Torey Lovullo made recent changes to accommodate for Corbin Carroll's slow start. Marte had been the team's primary leadoff hitter. Rotowire.com Today, 5:43 pm

  • Smacks first career homer
Perez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 4-1 victory over the Royals.

Advice: Perez' first career dinger came in the first inning off Kansas City starter Michael Wacha and represented what turned out to be the game-winning blast for the Tigers. The rookie outfielder has started four of the past five games for the Tigers and has found himself consistently toward the top of the lineup, hitting in the three hole for the third consecutive start. Through 35 at-bats, Perez has 10 hits including one double, two triples and a home run with five RBI and four runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 5:26 pm

He was also hit by a pitch in the seventh inning and scored on an RBI single off the bat of Mike Trout. • Bryson Stott homers twice in win over Padres
Bryson Stott crushed a pair of two-run homers on Sunday, powering the Phillies to an 8-6 victory over the Padres.

Advice: Stott opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 395-foot (105.7 mph EV) two-run shot off of Michael King in the second inning. He replicated that feat in the fourth inning — this time a 396-foot (103.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of King that gave the Phillies a 4-3 lead. He also grounded into a fielder’s choice in the eighth inning, swiped second base and scored on an RBI double off the bat of Johan Rojas. With the monster day at the dish, the 26-year-old second baseman is now hitting .226/.295/.369 with three homers, 14 RBI and four stolen bases in what has otherwise been a disappointing season. • Jose Altuve hits seventh homer in Astros’ victory
Jose Altuve went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk and three runs scored as the Astros topped the Rockies 8-2 in Mexico City on Sunday.

Advice: Altuve’s homer projected at 438 feet, his longest blast since Oct. 7, 2020. He hadn’t hit a ball farther than 404 feet this season, though that hadn’t stopped him from amassing six homers coming into the day. He’s batting .342/.414/.596 in 128 plate appearances. • Mauricio Dubón goes 0-for-4 against Rockies
Mauricio Dubón went 0-for-4 as the Astros’ center fielder Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Jake Meyers isn’t supposed to be hurt, but he hasn’t started since taking a pitch off his forearm on Wednesday. Dubón has played center field in two of the last three games, while Chas McCormick slid over to center on Saturday. Dubón’s .279/.302/.393 line isn’t anything special, and while he’s fine there, he’s not quite the center fielder that Meyers is. He really shouldn’t be getting the majority of the playing time.
