      Carlos Correa went 2-for-3 against the Pirates on Friday.

      Advice: It was a quiet night for the Twins offense as they were shutout by Mitch Keller and the Pittsburgh bullpen. Correa added two more hits to his ledger. He also hit second in the order, which is the spot ahead of Royce Lewis.       David Bednar tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: The save was Bednar’s 13th of the season. He blew three of his first four save opportunities this season, but since then he’s converted on 12 consecutive save chances.     • Keller stellar again, picks up eighth win Friday
      Mitch Keller threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Pirates’ 3-0 victory over the Twins on Friday.



      Advice: Keller gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out eight. The win was his eighth of the season. Keller has now won six starts in a row and all of them have been quality starts. His ERA is 1.13 over his last six starts with a .226 average allowed. Keller now has a 3.16 ERA and SO:BB of 74:22 in 13 starts this year. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cardinals on the road next week.

      Bregman (hand) is starting at third base and batting second in Friday's series opener against the Angels, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
