    • Picks up win
Scott (5-4) struck out two batters over 1.2 perfect frames and earned a win over the Guardians on Friday.

Advice: Scott entered a tie game in the eighth inning and forced a double play to escape the first-and-third jam he inherited. He then struck out two in the ninth inning before Miami walked it off in the bottom of the frame. After some early season struggles, Scott has now gone 18 straight innings without allowing an earned run. His season ERA has fallen to 1.40 with a 27:19 K:BB through 25.2 innings. • Tanner Scott notches fifth win for Marlins
Tanner Scott pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings and notched a win in relief Friday against the Guardians.

Advice: Scott came into a tie game in the eighth and stayed in to finish after the Marlins took a one-run lead. It’s his fifth win of the year, all coming since Apr. 30. Even though he’s very much Miami’s closer, he has just three saves during that same five-week span. Rotoworld 58 minutes ago

    • Westburg hits 10th home run in win Friday
Jordan Westburg went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Rays on Friday.

Advice: Westburg’s home run was his 10th of the season. He hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning to give the Orioles a 6-3 lead. The 25-year-old third baseman is having a breakout season for Baltimore. His 133 wRC+ is in the top 25 among qualified hitters this year. Rotoworld Today, 6:54 pm

    • Civale allows four runs in loss to Orioles Friday
Aaron Civale allowed four runs in five innings and took the loss against the Orioles on Friday.

Advice: Civale gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out eight. He’s won just two of his 13 starts this year. Tampa Bay acquired Civale last year and he had a 5.36 ERA in 10 starts. In 13 starts this year, his ERA is 5.91. If the Rays of all teams can’t fix him, I don’t know if any team can. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs at home next week. • Jarred Kelenic (wrist) available off bench
Jarred Kelenic hit in cage prior to Friday’s game and is expected to be available off the bench against the Nationals.

Advice: Kelenic’s wrist must still be bothering him some or he’d be in the lineup against a right-hander tonight. Still, this is good news. Unfortunately, the Braves are facing lefties on both Saturday and Sunday, but Kelenic might start at least one of those games anyway. Rotoworld Today, 2:05 pm

    • Likely back Saturday
Kelenic (wrist) is likely to return to Atlanta's lineup Saturday versus the Nationals, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Kelenic is missing a second straight start Friday after tweaking his right wrist on a diving catch Wednesday. However, he hit in the cage Friday and will be available to pinch hit. Barring any complications, Kelenic should be back in there for Saturday's contest. Rotowire.com Today, 1:54 pm

    • Absent from lineup versus lefty
Naylor is not in the lineup for Friday's game in Miami.

Advice: With southpaw Ryan Weathers on the hill for the Marlins, the left-handed hitting Naylor will start this one on the bench. Austin Hedges will do the catching for Logan Allen. Rotowire.com Today, 1:39 pm

    • Still out Friday
Kelenic (wrist) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Kelenic will miss a second straight game after injuring his wrist on a diving catch Wednesday. All indications point to the injury being minor, so he should be back in the lineup soon. In the meantime, Adam Duvall will play left field and J.P. Martinez will step into right. Rotowire.com Today, 12:39 pm
