    • Shohei Ohtani slugs 200th career homer vs. Tigers
Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a home run, triple, three runs scored, two RBI, two walks, and a stolen base against the Tigers on Saturday.

Advice: Ohtani led off the game with a triple off Keider Montero and scored on a groundout. He later took Montero deep for a solo homer in the fifth, his 29th of the season and 200th of his career. Ohtani then drew a walk in the eighth and swiped second base before scoring on a sacrifice fly. The 30-year-old star is slashing .314/.400/.637 with 29 homers, 75 runs scored, 69 RBI, and 23 steals across 425 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 1:28 pm

    • Not starting Saturday
Siri isn't in the Rays' lineup Saturday against the Guardians, Steve Carney of StPeteNine.com reports.

Advice: After going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts Friday, lowering his batting average to just .125 (4-for-32) since the start of July, Siri will get a chance to regroup Saturday while Jonny DeLuca starts in center field. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:24 am
    • Full rehab game at DH
Ruiz (wrist) took a full game's worth of plate appearances at designated hitter for Single-A Stockton against Rancho Cucamonga on Friday, going 1-for-2 with a three-run double, two walks and a run. He was also caught stealing on his only attempt.

Advice: It was yet another eventful night with the Ports for Ruiz, who's hitting .500 over his three rehab games with Stockton thus far. The fleet-footed outfielder was also playing on consecutive nights for the first time during the assignment Friday, and judging by both his performance at the plate and the green light he had on the basepaths, his previously ailing wrist appears to be back to health. It remains to be seen if the A's will allow Ruiz to finish out the weekend with either Stockton or another minor-league affiliate before activating him coming out of the All-Star break. • Not starting Saturday
Bart isn't in the Pirates' lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Advice: Bart went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored during a win in Friday's series opener, and he'll now take a seat while Yasmani Grandal starts behind the plate. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:28 am
    • Enters late, steals base
Marte entered Friday's game as a pinch hitter and went 0-for-1 with a walk and a stolen base in a 5-4 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Marte hit for designated hitter Joc Pederson and remained in the game at DH. The theft was Marte's fifth of the season and second in the last seven games. He had double-digit steals twice in the early part of his career and was successful in eight of 10 attempts in 2023. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:59 am
    • Struggling in July
Siri went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts Friday against the Guardians.

Advice: Siri has gone hitless in five of nine games since July 1, and he's gone just 4-for-32 with 11 strikeouts. Positively, he does have two stolen bases in that span without being caught, bringing his total on the season to nine on 15 attempts. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:54 pm
    • Cranks 33rd homer
Judge went 1-for-1 with a solo home run and four walks in Friday's 4-1 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Judge led off the third inning with a solo shot off Cade Povich, his league-leading 33rd long ball of the season. Otherwise, Baltimore pitchers wanted nothing to do with Judge. The homer was Judge's first since July 2 and he'd been in a bit of a slump coming into Friday, going just 4-for-31(.129) in his previous eight games. Still, it's been another excellent year for the 32-year-old outfielder -- Judge is slashing .306/.429/.674 with 84 RBI and 71 runs scored through 414 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:42 pm
    • Aaron Judge homers, walks four times in victory
Aaron Judge homered in his lone official at-bat and walked four times Friday as the Yankees topped the Orioles 4-1.

Advice: None of the walks were intentional, but the Orioles didn’t seem all that upset about them. Judge’s homer was projected at 397 feet. He has 33 on the season, and he’s now 83 points ahead of Shohei Ohtani for the major league lead in OPS. Rotoworld Friday, 8:10 pm
    • Shohei Ohtani delivers game-winner on Friday
Shohei Ohtani smacked a go-ahead RBI double with two outs in the ninth inning on Friday night, leading the Dodgers to a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the Tigers in Motown.

Advice: The Dodgers stared at a 3-2 deficit for most of the night but tied things up on a two-out RBI single by Teoscar Hernandez in the eighth inning. Then with runners at the corners and two outs in the ninth, Ohtani crushed a ball over the head of center fielder Riley Greene for an RBI ground-rule double. The 30-year-old superstar finished the night 1-for-5 with a strikeout and is now hitting .312/.396/.624 with 28 homers, 67 RBI and 22 swipes on the season. Rotoworld Friday, 6:55 pm
