      Advice: He did allow an unearned run, and it’s worth pointing out he was the one who made the error. Kirby walked two, which makes this the first game since March 29 that the right-hander has walked more than one hitter in a game. The right-hander made up for it by striking out six in another strong start for the 26-year-old. Kirby has now allowed just four runs in his last four starts, and his ERA has lowered to 3.54, and his career ERA against Texas is a sparkling 1.08.       Advice: Flaherty received an anti-inflammatory injection on Monday and had a few extra days of rest to combat a back injury, but he looked good overall on Saturday. His four-seam velocity was down 1.5 mph, so that’s something to keep an eye on, but he induced eight whiffs on 31 swings for a 26 percent whiff rate and 32 percent CSW.
