    • Secures first career save
Hodge worked around a hit to toss a scoreless 10th inning and earn the save in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Giants. He struck out one.

Advice: Incumbent closer Hector Neris pitched a clean ninth inning, then Hodge closed the door in the 10th, giving the rookie his first career MLB save. The 23-year-old righty has been solid so far with a 1.80 ERA and 15 strikeouts across 10 innings. The veteran Neris should stick in the closer role for now, but Hodge seems to be a viable option if the need arises. Rotowire.com Today, 7:55 pm

    • Arenado belts seventh home run in loss Thursday
Nolan Arenado went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run against the Reds on Thursday.

Advice: Arenado’s home run was his seventh of the season. He’s struggled mightily this year with a .258 average and .691 OPS. Arenado finished third in the National League MVP voting just two years ago, but has hit .262 with 33 home runs and 127 RBI in 218 games since then.

    • Records quality start Thursday
Imanaga allowed three runs on five hits across six innings but did not factor into the decision in Thursday's 5-3, 10-inning win over the Giants. He walked two and struck out three.

Advice: This was a nice bounceback effort for Imanaga, who allowed 10 runs in his last outing against the surging Mets. The righty had a sparkling 1.89 ERA before that implosion, but he's still sitting with a solid 3.07 mark across his first 15 starts at the MLB level. While it was unlikely that Imanaga would continue his early-season dominance, he should still be a strong fantasy option moving forward. He's tentatively lined up to start again Wednesday against a challenging Philadelphia lineup. Rotowire.com Today, 7:48 pm

    • India stays red hot with two-hit game Thursday
Jonathan India went 2-for-4 with a run scored, a double and an RBI against the Cardinals on Thursday.

Advice: India started the game with a single and scored on Elly De La Cruz’s RBI triple. In the second inning, he had an RBI double to give the Reds a 2-0 lead. India is now on a nine-game hitting streak and he’s 17-for-33 (.515) in that stretch. In June, he’s 30-for-80 (.375) with 18 runs scored and 14 RBI in 24 games. India’s average is up to .272 on the season with a .771 OPS and 32 RBI.

    • De La Cruz hits RBI triple, steals base in win
Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a run scored, a triple, an RBI and a stolen base against the Cardinals on Thursday.

Advice: De La Cruz’s RBI triple off Miles Mikolas in the first inning started the scoring for Cincinnati. He later stole his 38th base of the season. De La Cruz is hitting .255 with an .815 OPS and 36 RBI on the year.

    • Abbott allows two runs in win Thursday
Andrew Abbott allowed two runs in five innings and got the win in the Reds’ 11-4 victory over the Cardinals on Thursday.

Advice: Abbott gave up two hits, walked six and struck out two. Abbott wasn’t sharp as the six walks were a season-high, but the Reds scored 10 runs while he was in the game and he was able to grind out five innings to earn his seventh win of the season. Abbott has won four of his last five starts and has a 3.41 ERA on the year. The 25-year-old left-hander is set to face the Yankees on the road next week.

    • Mikolas hammered for 10 runs in loss Thursday
Miles Mikolas allowed 10 runs (nine earned) in 4 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Reds on Thursday.

Advice: Mikolas gave up 12 hits, walked one and struck out one. This was a disaster of a start for Mikolas. He only allowed one home run, but the Reds had a hit parade against Mikolas, who allowed a .478 BABIP in this start. Mikolas was hit hard as eight of the 12 hits went for extra bases including six doubles, a triple by Elly De La Cruz and a home run off the bat of Spencer Steer. He’s seen his ERA go from 4.59 to 5.32 in his last two starts. The 35-year-old right-hander will look to turn the page against the Pirates on the road next week.

    • Perez has two-hit game in win Thursday
Salvador Perez went 2-for-3 against the Guardians on Thursday.

Advice: Perez has hit safely in four consecutive games. He’s seen his average drop from .321 at the end of May to .283. The Royals lineup desperately needs his bat to wake up again. This was only his third multi-hit game in June, but maybe it’s the start of a hot streak. Rotoworld Today, 7:44 pm

    • Delivers big home run in win
Happ went 1-for-3 with two walks and a two-run home run in Thursday's 5-3, 10-inning win over the Giants.

Advice: Happ reached base twice via walks earlier in the contest, but it was his home run in the 10th inning that proved critical. The outfielder broke open a 3-3 tie with his 10th long ball of the year, and the Cubs held on for the victory. Happ has now reached double figures in homers in each of his eight MLB seasons, making him a steady if not spectacular fantasy contributor across his career. Rotowire.com Today, 7:42 pm
