    • Vierling on base twice in loss Friday
Matt Vierling went 1-for-3 with a walk against the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: It was a quiet night for the Tigers offense as they were shutout and managed only two hits. Still, Vierling got on base twice out of the leadoff spot. His average is up to .282 with a .794 OPS on the season. Obviously, he’s not going to put up big time run totals given the state of Detroit’s offense, but he’s been a viable option even in mixed leagues so far this season. • Yelich has three hits in route over Tigers Friday
Christian Yelich went 3-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base against the Tigers on Friday.

Advice: The stolen base was his ninth of the season. Yelich continues to swing a hot bat at the plate as he’s up to .324 on the season with a .934 OPS. The 32-year-old outfielder is in the top 15 in all of baseball in wRC+ (min. 150 plate appearances). Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:38 pm
    • Crosses plate three times Tuesday
Winker went 1-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and three runs scored in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Mets.

Advice: The steal actually came on a botched pickoff, as Mets starter David Peterson had Winker dead to rights but Pete Alonso couldn't handle the pitcher's throw to first. It still goes into the books as Winker's 11th stolen base of the season, an incredible number considering he came into the year just 3-for-6 on the basepaths over 610 career big-league games. The 30-year-old outfielder is also locked in at the plate right now, batting .343 (12-for-35) with a .429 OBP over the last 11 contests, but his only extra-base hit among those dozen knocks is a double. • On base three times
Rengifo went 2-for-3 with a walk, a steal and an RBI in Tuesday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Rengifo plated the Angels' first run with a base hit in the third and wound up being stranded on second after notching his 14th steal and second in as many games. He now has at least a hit in four straight games and is slashing .390/.419/.512 with three RBI, eight runs and a 2:4 BB:K in 43 plate appearances since May 24. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:33 am

    • Goes yard again
Burleson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Burleson's gone deep in three straight games after a stretch of 12 contests without a homer. He continues to look ready for an everyday role, which has come at a convenient time with the Cardinals missing Lars Nootbaar (oblique) and Tommy Edman (wrist). Burleson is up to a .276/.308/.448 slash line with eight homers, 22 RBI, 17 runs scored, two stolen bases and six doubles over 182 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:07 pm

    • Goes deep in win
Greene went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Greene extended his hitting streak to six games, and he's batting .391 with two home runs during the hot stretch. Overall, the 23-year-old outfielder is batting .249 with 11 long balls, which matches his career-high total from last season. Greene is still a bit inconsistent at the plate, which isn't surprising for a player his age, but he's been dynamic when he's locked in Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:08 pm

    • Riley Greene hits 11th homer in win over Rangers
Riley Greene went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Greene smacked his 11th homer of the season off of Dane Dunning in the fifth inning to push the Tigers’ lead to 3-0. Greene has hit safely in six straight games and has two homers over that span. He continues to be a productive hitter at the top of the Tigers’ lineup and is fifth on the team with 24 RBI. • Swipes 13th bag
Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a run and a stolen base in a 2-1 victory versus the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Offense in the contest was scarce, so Rengifo's role in producing the Angels' first run was especially valuable. He singled with one out in the fourth inning and stole second base before eventually crossing the plate on a Willie Calhoun single. Rengifo missed some time in May due to an illness, but he hasn't slowed down since returning, slashing .313/.353/.484 with two homers, six RBI, 10 runs and four stolen bases in 16 contests. The infielder leads the team and is tied for 12th in the majors with 13 thefts on the campaign. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:23 am

    • Drives in three Monday
Winker went 3-for-4 with a walk and three RBI in Monday's loss to the Mets.

Advice: All three hits were singles, but it was still a productive night for Winker. His performance was marred by a caught stealing to end the second inning, however -- one of many mistakes by the Nats in what proved to be a one-run loss. The 30-year-old outfielder is batting .333 (11-for-33) over the last 10 games, but his only extra-base hit during that stretch is a double, and his homer drought currently stands at 13 games.
