    • CJ Abrams triples, collects RBI in Nats’ victory
CJ Abrams went 1-for-4 with an RBI on Tuesday, leading the Nationals to a 5-4 extra-inning win over the Tigers in a 10-inning marathon.

Advice: Abrams extended Washington’s early lead with a run-scoring triple in the fifth inning before coming around to score on a sacrifice fly from ensuing batter Lane Thomas. The 23-year-old speedster has been in a bit of a rut offensively over the last few weeks, hitting .203 (25-for-123) with only three homers and two steals over his last 30 games. • Tallies three hits Monday
Merrill went 3-for-4 with a double, a run and an RBI in Monday's 6-1 victory over the Athletics.

Advice: The bottom third of San Diego's order produced half of the team's 10 hits, with Merrill's three knocks leading the way. The exciting young outfielder extended his current hitting streak to six games, and he's batting .391 (9-for-23) over that stretch. Merrill is holding his own in his rookie campaign, slashing .281/.316/.367 with three homers, 24 RBI, 26 runs and nine stolen bases through 236 plate appearances. • Homers and steals in win
Adames went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and a stolen base in a 3-1 win against the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Adames singled and stole second base in the second inning, gave the Brewers a 2-1 lead on a solo homer in the fourth and added some insurance on a sacrifice fly in the sixth. Adames opened June in a 4-for-28 slump through eight games, but he now has double-digit home runs and stolen bases following Monday's outburst. On the season, Adames is slashing .248/.328/.433 with 10 home runs, 45 RBI and 10 steals while primarily hitting cleanup. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:13 pm

    • Adames blasts 10th home run Monday
Willy Adames went 2-for-4 with a home run, a stolen base and a sacrifice fly against the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Adames’ home run was his 10th of the season and the stolen base was his ninth. He’s hitting .248 with a .761 OPS this year, but he continues to drive in runs in the middle of the Milwaukee order. Adames now has 45 RBI to go with the homers and steals. Fantasy managers have to be pleased with that production so far. Rotoworld Monday, 7:36 pm

    • Collects steal No. 10
Abrams went 1-for-5 with a double, three RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's win over Atlanta.

Advice: The shortstop came through with one of the big blows in a seven-run fourth inning for the Nationals, smashing a bases-loaded double into the right-field corner, and Abrams then promptly stole third base. The two-bagger was his 12th of the season while the steal was his 10th, and Abrams might be coming out of his prolonged slump -- he's hit safely in four straight games and five of the last six with three extra-base hits (two doubles and a homer), two steals, three runs and five RBI. • Abrams has steal, three RBI in win over Braves
CJ Abrams went 1-for-5 with three RBI and a steal in a win over the Braves.

Advice: Abrams drove in all three runs on a double off Aaron Bummer in the fourth inning that broke the game wide open for the Nationals. He also had two hard-hit balls that both resulted in outs. The 23-year-old has had a rough go of it over the last month, going 28-for-136 (.206) since the calendar flipped to May with a 35:2 K:BB rate in 33 games. Abrams has a ton of talent with 10 home runs and 10 steals already on the season. He’s also still striking out just 21 percent of the time on the season, so strikeouts haven’t been a major issue. He has pulled the ball far less since April and hit the ball on the ground more often, so perhaps he needs to adjust to the way pitchers have adapted to his hot start. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:17 pm

    • Reaches three times, steals base
Turang went 2-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs in Saturday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: The Brewers' primary leadoff man started off the game with a walk, then moved to second and scored on a single by Christian Yelich. Turang would reach on hits in his next two at-bats and scored again in the third, giving him his seventh game with at least two runs scored this season. The second baseman also added his 23rd stolen base of the season, second to only Elly De La Cruz in MLB. Turang's batting average sits at .307 for the year. Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:52 pm

    • Brice Turang swipes another bag in win over Tigers
Brice Turang went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a pair of runs scored on Saturday afternoon as the Brewers eked out a one-run victory over the Tigers in Detroit.

Advice: Turang led off the game with a walk, advanced to second on a balk and raced around to score on an RBI single off the bat of Christian Yelich. He singled again in the third inning and ultimately scored on a ground ball off the bat of Willy Adames. The speedy 24-year-old then reached on an infield single in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but was ultimately stranded at third. He has been a catalyst atop the Brewers’ lineup this season — slashing a healthy .307/.371/.415 to go along with three homers, 23 RBI and 23 stolen bases. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:24 pm

    • Logs steal in win
Merrill went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 10-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: This was Merrill's first steal since May 14. Over the 20 contests between thefts, he hit a meager .224 (15-for-67) with no walks and just one extra-base hit. The 21-year-old still has a respectable .268/.303/.344 slash line with three home runs, 22 RBI, 24 runs scored and eight steals over 63 contests this year. Merrill has been benched against some left-handed pitchers recently, but he should have no trouble maintaining a majority of the playing time in center field over Jose Azocar.
