Christian Encarnacion-Strand will undergo season-ending right hand surgery on July 11.
Advice: Encarnacion-Strand has been out since late April after suffering ligament damage in his right hand when he was hit by a pitch. The 24-year-old slugger’s decision to undergo surgery to repair a ulnar styloid fracture on the inside of his hand near his wrist, will keep him sidelined until early October, and is basically going to end his season. He can be safely dropped in all re-draft formats, but is obviously worth stashing in all keeper and dynasty league formats. It’s unclear how he’ll rebound next year after ostensibly missing an entire season due to injury. RotoworldToday, 1:22 pm
Vaughn is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.
Advice: Vaughn will be out of the lineup for the first time since dealing with a finger injury at the start of June, giving way to Gavin Sheets at first base Tuesday. After logging a seven-game hit streak, Vaughn has gone 0-for-8 in his last two games. Rotowire.comToday, 1:17 pm
Josh Naylor is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Orioles.
Advice: It looks like merely a routine off day for Naylor, who hasn’t sat out since May 22. The 27-year-old slugger boasts an .823 OPS with a career-high 20 homers and three steals through 73 games so far. It’ll be Gabriel Arias at the hot corner on Tuesday night. RotoworldToday, 1:13 pm
David Fry (elbow) is in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Orioles.
Advice: Fry is back in Cleveland’s lineup for the second straight contest after making an early exit from Sunday’s game agains the Blue Jays due to right elbow inflammation. It obviously doesn’t seem like a massive concern going forward. RotoworldToday, 1:11 pm
Rice is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.
Advice: With J.D. Davis joining the Yankees roster, Rice is expected to enter the strong side of a platoon with Davis at first base. Rice will take a seat Tuesday for the first time since being called up since June 18 as the Mets trot out southpaw David Peterson. Rotowire.comToday, 1:11 pm
Naylor is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles.
Advice: Naylor will get his first day off since May 22, avoiding a matchup with lefty Cole Irvin on Tuesday. Gabriel Arias will bat eighth and play first base. Rotowire.comToday, 12:40 pm
O'Hearn is absent from the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Guardians, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Advice: As per usual, O'Hearn will be held out of the lineup with the Orioles facing a southpaw, as Logan Allen takes the mound for Cleveland on Tuesday. O'Hearn is riding a five-game hit streak, batting 7-for-22 with eight RBI during that span. Rotowire.comToday, 11:44 am
Montero is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Houston.
Advice: It marks the fourth straight game that Montero has been out of the lineup, although he did make one pinch-hitting appearance over that stretch. The recent emergence of Michael Toglia has put the squeeze on Montero's playing time, and his .581 OPS hasn't helped, either. Rotowire.comToday, 11:42 am
Urias is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Guardians, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Advice: Urias had drawn three consecutive starts at third base, but he'll give way to Jordan Westburg on Tuesday. During those three starts, Urias went 0-for-10 and snapped a seven-game hit streak. Rotowire.comToday, 11:35 am
