Merrill has also notched at least one hit in nine of his past 10 games and is batting .351 (13-for-37) with eight extra-base hits, six RBI, seven runs and two steals during that stretch.       Ahmed went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Angels.

      Advice: Ahmed has gone 3-for-7 over two games since he returned from a five-week absence due to a wrist injury. It looks like he'll reclaim a starting job at shortstop, though the Angels have faced a pair of southpaws since Ahmed's return. The righty-hitting infielder was starting prior to his injury, but lefty-hitting Brett Wisely has batted .311 and saw a large share of playing time while Ahmed was out. Ahmed is slashing .248/.282/.299 with no home runs, one steal, 11 RBI and 10 runs scored over 126 plate appearances this season and is primarily valued for his defense rather than his bat.       Lenyn Sosa went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer to help the White Sox to a 9-2 victory over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

      Advice: Sosa nearly doubled the lead for the White Sox with a three-run homer to make it 7-2 in the seventh. The 24-year-old also doubled and singled. There have been some flashes for Sosa thus far in 2024 — albeit inconsistent ones — and the three-hit game improves his slash to .250/.291/.392.       Rafaela went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Yankees.

      Advice: This was Rafaela's third multi-hit effort over his last four games. He's gone eight contests without an RBI, though he also has just two extra-base hits in that span. The 23-year-old continues to trend in the right direction -- his .230 batting average is the highest mark he's achieved since April 7.       Advice: Semien got the Rangers on the board with an RBI double in the fifth inning and added a two-out, two-run single in the ninth, but the comeback fell short. This was his third multi-hit effort in June, though it was his first since June 3. The second baseman is slashing .265/.330/.438 with 11 home runs, 40 RBI, 50 runs scored and three stolen bases over 69 contests this season.       Nick Gonzales homered and drove home two runs in a loss to the Rockies on Saturday.

      Advice: Gonzales tied the game at 1-1 with a solo homer off Ty Blach in the fourth frame. The former top prospect has been able to pick up five homers in his 117 at-bats, and that roundtripper along with an RBI on a fielder’s choice give him 25 on the year.       Rojas went 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks, three RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Rojas went 2-for-27 (.074) over his previous 10 games before breaking out of the slump in a big way. He hit a solo shot in the seventh inning and a two-run single in the eighth, providing the Mariners with enough of a cushion to survive the Rangers' late comeback. The homer was Rojas' first since April 28 and his fourth of the season to go with 15 RBI, 26 runs scored, six stolen bases and a .263/.336/.395 slash line over 61 contests.       Bobby Witt Jr. stole a base while going 2-for-5 in a victory for the Royals over the Dodgers on Saturday.

      Advice: Witt Jr. also drove in a run with his single in the seventh, and it gave the Royals a 6-2 cushion. The star shortstop’s theft gives him 20 on the season, and there’s a good chance he’s going to pass the 49 swipes that he picked up in 2023.
