      Emmanuel Clase hurled a scoreless ninth to pick up a save against the Mariners on Thursday.

      Advice: It’s already the 22nd save of the season for Clase, and the hunt for a 50-save season is certainly on. The right-hander didn’t allow a hit and procured a strikeout, and the scoreless frame puts his ERA at a dazzling 0.76.       Hudson threw two scoreless innings of relief and picked up his 11th hold of the season in Wednesday's victory over the Angels. He allowed a hit, struck out a batter and walked none.

      Advice: Hudson allowed two earned runs in his final appearance of May, but he gave up only two all season prior to that, and he has not allowed even one through 8.0 innings in June.       Advice: Alonso gave New York a two-run lead with his blast to center field in the sixth inning, but Texas was able to mount a comeback and pull off the victory. The long ball continued a hot stretch for the first baseman, as he's in the midst of a five-game hitting streak during which he's batted .391 (9-for-23) with two homers and 10 RBI. The 29-year-old Reynolds has been red hot at the plate -- he extended his hit streak to 17 games, going 24-for-70 (.343) with 11 extra-base hits in that span. However, Keller wouldn't factor into the decision, as the Pirates couldn't get on the board until Bryan Reynolds homered in the eighth, providing the lone run in a 1-0 victory. Keller's been excellent since the start of May, pitching to a 1.53 ERA over his last eight outings. Overall, the right-hander's 8-4 with a 3.11 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 85:24 K:BB across 15 starts (92.2 innings) this season.
